1. Opening odds have been drifting steadily as money has come in on PacMan.
From a DLH betting point of view:
Will this trend likely continue up until fight time today-- or is there a chance of a reversal?
Wondering whether to put in bet now, so as not to risk wise guy money killing odds...

2. Even though DLH has stated of being extremely disappointed if not getting KO--
is there a chance of either sympathy or a deal in place not to make PacMan look too bad?
And / or is DLH concerned with expected negativity following a quick and /or brutal dispatch?

I'm thinking along the lines of Frazier-Foster & Foster-Rondon.

FYI Tale of the Tape shows PacMan fist, wrist & ankle each / all being 1" or more larger than DLH....hhmmmmm.......

Any and all thoughts, even insults, are most welcome. :nohead:

TIA

i think he`d give up those fist/wrist/ankle measurements to gain that 4+inches in height and the 10 or 15 pounds in bodyweight he`ll be giving up by fight time....

the odds, imo, are attributable to 2 issues...filipino money and the strange urge of boxing handicappers to buy into the hype machine trying to churn out as many ppv buys as possible by making this look as even as they possibly can(by doing things like making dlh stand for the weigh-in pics in socks while manny is wearing thick soled sneakers).....notice how in most photos they only show dlh and manny from mid-thigh up....

odds-wise,the same thing happened with roy jones/calzaghe,if i recall...and that was a mismatch between a guy at the top of his game and a guy who lost his main attribute(reflexes) years ago...

i believe that there should be some oscar money coming in late.......that`s an opinion...

ususally,your first instincts are correct..

Reminds me of Mayweather/Hatton.

These HBO 24/7's are great. They make it seem like a fight is more competitive than it really is. Good if you like to fade public dogs.

I totally agree re measurements. Along those lines you can also lump in Packquiao's stick training--
one thing is to withstand pain, another when something hits you with enough force to break bone, send your entire self flying across the ring.

I also agree with the shoes vs barefoot bit(shoulda worn black socks). Notice also during staredown how DLH stood a bit further away-- so's he would have to slightly droop
to come closer(while Pac was standing as rarmrod straight as possible.
Notice also during frontal pictures how DLH stood back a bit-- an old Hollywood trick to even out overt height discrepancies.

DLH's been exrremely shrewd about this: made weight very early on-- to boot with a couple of pounds to spare, wears black for slimmer look, droops / hangs neck, shoulders, & neck + bends knees ever so slightly.

He shoulda done this for Mayweather too, I don't understand one commentator stating he looked gaunt-- he resembles a bit how he looked when commencing pro career-- and this can only help him:

he should be a lot faster now, and assuming he lost the weight thru physical rather than pharmacological means, should have improved fitness and possibly even stamina.

And I also agree re hyping PPV-- a lot of journalists are gonna have egg on thier face, and a lot of viewers are going to be disappointed.
It's like everyone is saying the Earth is square-- weight levels don't mean much.

Thanks for your comments.

I respectully would rather label it fan, underdog and hedge, dutch, scalp money.

I myself am passing up scalping. This outcome looms SO one-side, W/O having to lay ridiculous odds to boot, that I'm going for the gusto.

I've also backed up the truck on this one. Good luck bjt
U2.
+ tiny little bit on the draw. I'm having visions of an early fall, ankle twist- resulting in either a no contest or - go to the scorecards... majority draw.

You mean the people who are going to lose all their money:nohead:
I was trying to be a little more diplomatic
There's so much money to be made here-- irrespective of side even:
one could dutch--
Fight Goes to a Decision + 100 w/
DLH KO Win +155

That covers most everything-- even a Draw, except for Pac KO or accident before the fifth, which I really can not see as a possiblity.
