N.E. Revolution
Chicago Fire

REVS - 0.5 -105

Early form shows Revs to be class of MLS. 13 goals in 5 games. No losses. Last week 1-0 win over Chivas USA should have been 5-0 except for hot Chivas keeper Guzan, driving rainstorm, and Chivas keeping nearly entire team behind the ball. Dempsey, Noonan, Dorman, Ralston, et all, have yet to be stopped and were not by a good Fire defense two weeks ago in Chicago. Fire never threatened in 3-0 loss. Clint Dempsey emerging as potentially a great MLS export.

Los Angeles Galaxy
Colorado Rapids

GALAXY -0.5 -120

Huge playing surface with passionate fanbase has resulted in Galaxy being nearly unbeatable at Home Depot Center. The best home advantage in the league. Donovan and Jones have looked quite good and on top of that Rapids are nothing to write home about.

Nice analysis Mr.Jones.

I agree with both the picks but my main concern is bad weather forecast for Foxboro again this weekend. It nearly cost me a winner last time against Chivas but the Revs got the job done just in time.

The other picks I like are DC United over Columbus and the over in the Chivas USA/Salt Lake match-up. BOL.

2-1 for me so far and 1-0 for Mr.Jones with the Galaxy match still to come.

-120 is looking good value now. I think that there could be potential in capping MLS.

What a fookin game!! Galaxy are 3-2 winners with 3 penalty kicks in the last 5 minutes!!! [two for Galaxy one for Rapids] --all goals.

Had Arsenal today also. Good weekend.

fookin,

Looks like there may be two class teams in MLS. One in the East and one in the West. It would be good for a league where parity has not worked too well.

BM's will pick up on it soon enough though.

Great finish to the game at the HDC. Glad Donovan kept his cool for those late PK's.

I agree that the Revs and Galaxy are strong at the moment but I also like MLS champion team DC United. Also the Galaxy haven't been on the road much so far so i might only back them at the HDC for now. I will certainly be placing more bets on the MLS though.
