Im worried with BCNs low volume. With big fish like you jumping into the frey, it would not take much to put a hurting on a low volume book like BCN. I will wait another year. Thanks for the update though.

I think ESB told me they had an escrow account too. Im not bashing BCN, they have done nothing worth me bashing them over. Im just giving it the wait and see.

Another poster said BCN has free wd every 30 days, I think it's first one only, then 2%, I may be wrong.

I don't buy the escrow, low volume concerns me.

What if all 5 customers put in 10k apiece to start, they escrow 50k. now these guys bang the 7-1 3-teamers and off lines. Their collective balances now add up to 250k after an unlucky streak for the book. It could happen with a small base of customers.

Where does the 200k come from if these guys all want to be paid ? How much does here banner cost monthly ? Are winnings also escrowed ?

I don't know how unique their baseball is, but I found the NBA to be unique enough to make 3-teamers I liked and have nearly the best lines on all 3 games.

They scared me off with 2% fees and furthur scared me when I learned how few tickets they write. They seem doomed to fail. Overhead expenses alone will kill them. They need time to prove me wrong before I return there. I hope they survive, but the 3-teamers remind me of Blue Marlins' 10-cent buy off of 3 in NFL. Then there's the bonuses. Most disturbing of all is the ticket count which I failed to notice when there.

BCN-- I have not seen many posts about the book, but I deposited a while back, lost it all....and then continued to get cold-called (which stopped after a few weeks). I was nervous being the 1400th(ish) account. How they spend those ad dollars with a customer base that small is beyond me.


Also, poster Illini was getting cold called and told the guy he would think about reuping if they brought back the 7-1 3 team parlays. The guy said he would get right on it. No joke, the next day parlay odds for 3 teamers were back to 7-1....I thought that was a little odd.

Wait and see for me.

I'm in the 1700's , but think most accounts were created for the bonus money. Account #'s may be inflated also. It could be like ordering checks... start me at check # 4000... some places won't take your check with a low number.

With 1000+ accounts they should be writing more than 5 tickets daily ! Maybe they have taken my earlier suggestion of skipping 113 numbers between tickets ?

The escrow claim means as much to me as the Pan Am bond.
