Gus Malzahn (Tulsa OC) will be out for revenge. Arkansas fired him 2 years ago.

I'd look for a total as I think the line may be a little high.

Arkansas should be able to score but I don't see them holding Tulsa under 42

Tulsa will be DD faves i bet

Tulsa -3.5 to -6 IMO.

If they are double digit favs I'll be hitting Ark good.

My system line has Tulsa -3.5 @ Arkansas, but I haven't punched Arkansas or Tulsa's game into it yet, so it may be a couple more points to Tulsa.

Malzahn wasn't fired. He surprised Arkansas by leaving in January of '07.

Ole Miss was 3-4 coming in to the game this week and was a touchdown favorite. Tulsa is 8-0 and looking not only to win, but make a real statement. I wouldn't be surprised to see a line between 7 and 10, and I expect a DD victory for the Hurricanes.

I'll be on Arky if they are getting dbl digits. As you saw tonight, Tulsa had issues early on with UCF running the ball. Smith is one of the best backs in the SEC. If UCF had anything at QB the game would have been a lot different.

Arky's D is ranked 32 spots ahead of Tulsa's and that's playing much better competition. Tulsa is 77 in scoring D and Arky is 102 (5ppg)

Hard to tell. Arkansas is an improving team. Tulsa's front seven on D is not very big and the Razorbacks should be able to exploit that mismatch.

Just don't forget when capping this game that this is a non-BCS conference team going on the road and giving points to a BCS conference team....As a rule I usually bet the home BCS team getting points or stay far away from these games.

Arkansas has been improving and will be able to move the ball against Tulsa.

While Tulsa has a great offense, their Defense is putrid, when comparing them with BCS teams. I think Tulsa will score points, but they will have a hard time slowing Arkansas down and that is saying something, considering how bad Casey Dick has been.

The last non-BCS team this season to be favored on the road against a BCS conference team was 3-0 East Carolina when they went to 1-2 North Carolina State as 7 point favorites and lost the game outright 30-24. And NC St. hasn't won a game since...East Carolina had beaten both VT and WV at home as dogs...But it is a much different situation being a dog at home to a BCS team, than a favorite on the road.

ECU is god awful.. and NC State is better than a lot of people give them credit for despite their abysmal record. They have been wonderful ATS when it comes to ACC games.

I wouldn't say ECU is god awful. They do have a winning record. But they've gone on the road twice as TD favorites (NCST & Virginia) and lost to ACC teams. So two out of their three losses have come against BCS teams on the road..Like Tulsa, their pretty competetive within their own CUSA conference. I'm just using this ECU team as an example..Tulsa obviously isn't the same kind of team. And they very well could cover this spread..But if the line is bet up from 6.5 to 7.5 would you still feel comfortable taking a CUSA team and giving 2 scores on the road against an SEC team who has played much better competetion up to this point?
