FYI - Just a little insight I discovered from my source at the Philadelphia Crew regarding this pick. They note the Phillies are 24-5 SU in Cristopher Sanchez's starts at Citizens Bank Field since the beginning of the 2024 season, and the left-hander is personally 6-0 in 13 home outings this year with a


2.22 ERA with the team going 12-1 with 8 straight victories.


They also point out Sanchez has won both of his starts against the Marlins this season - both in Miami - while posting a combined 1.20 ERA. The Phillies, who are 51-24 at home this year with wins in 18 of their last 23, face Edward Cabrera, who has been sidelined this month with an elbow strain. They note in the right-hander's 4 starts prior to landing on the IL, Cabrera had a 6.10 ERA. They also make mention of how Cabrera pitched better at home (2.91 ERA) than on the road (4.47 ERA).
