I had the Toronto Raptors -1.5 today. Number 11 loser in a row for me. I’m seriously wondering what could be going on? 11 days straight LOSING EVERY SINGLE DAY. I am confused. Has anyone felt this way? How do you recover from almost 2 weeks of straight LOSSES?
Wow 11 losers in a row?
I think you should do the following
1)
Take a break for 1-2 weeks
2)
Try finding new angles or methods to find your selections: I would start using the trends posted in the Bonus Plays forum (managed to cash Celtics+1 1/2 by finding a few trends where they where 5-0 SU in 2 trends and 9-1 ATS in another trend) or search up on your web browser (for whatever sport you are handicapping) "NFL Trends" and I would look at DonsBest or Covers but I would highly recommend DonsBest!
3)
Do not play if you do not feel confident! That is a big one because once you start to have doubts on the game you just bet then you will probably loose again
4)
Try doing 1 play per day: I don't know if you bet 1 or more games per day but if you bet more than one then I would suggest doing 1 play per day Reason is because you dig in deep for the stats on a particular game you are interested in and that you do feel fully confident in to place a bet on you only have to worry about THAT play rather than this game and oh I have this game tonight so on and so forth
I have been right where you were about 2 months ago which is sad for all sports handicappers to be in a position of where you feel like everything is against you and the gambling gods are not listening
When I finally took a break for 2-3 weeks I started to dive into stats and also the newsletters that they provide in the Rubber room to handicap games that I feel like I have a shot at! I was mentioning before that I felt great about Celtics+1 1/2 because of these trends:
BOSTON is 9-1 ATS (+7.9 Units) in road games after 3 or more consecutive unders over the last 2 seasons.
Boston is 5-0 SU in its last 5 games on the road
Boston is 5-0 SU in its last 5 games
That's what prompted me to play this game and they won (and also won again yesterday)!
All it takes is a bit of research for 1 game or maybe 2 if you are interested but 1 play per day backed up with some stats or analysis and a full string of confidence!
Hopefully this helps! GL Rapid!
