2-0 Monday night
Rx Record: 30-31-1 straight plays; 30-35-1 overall
Net: -6.9 units

Tuesday:
Michigan State +3 vs. Illinois, 1 unit
I've thought all along this is the spot where the Illini would drop one so why wouldn't I take the three points while I can. This line opened at pick at the Greek three hours ago, but early Illini money pushed it up 3 points by the time it opened at Pinny. Will take the 3 now as I don't believe it will be at this number tomorrow....but then I'm often wrong trying to guess line moves.

Against you 100% percent Coast2Coast. System says Illini big tomorrow......

....any team that can end Wisconsin's 38 game win streak can beat Michigan St by 3 IMO.....

Good health to you, sir. :toast:

Your system has a better record than I, so you have that going for you...which is nice. Good luck to you too.

<?xml:namespace prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags" />West Virginia +11, -115 @ BC, 1 unit

Looks like my night to go against unbeaten teams. BC waxed WVU by 20 a month ago in Morgantown when the Eers couldn’t hit a shot the 2nd half (game was tied at half). BC has been a winning and covering machine, but this is not an outstanding defensive team, allowing opponents to shoot 43% and 37% from trey in games at BC. WVU is the kind of team that can have a hot shooting night and they’ve done it…overall shooting a healthy 45% on the road and 36% from trey. Those kind of shooting numbers will likely keep them in this game because BC shoots about the same from the field at home (46%) but shoots just 31% at home from trey. BC has the edge in the paint and will likely outboard WVU. That will be worth some points. But a good shooting team against a middling defense always has a chance to make a game of it. BC – particularly defensively – is not good enough to remain undefeated. Their first L might come when you least expect it….like maybe against a middling WVU team that’s capable of the kind of hot shooting night it takes to spring a big road upset.

<?xml:namespace prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags" />Wichita State +2, -115 @ Creighton, 1 unit

Liked Shockers at pick but wait was worth it as we got greater value by waiting and buying a hook to get it to a full deuce. Wichita has the kind of numbers you’d expect from a conference leader…45% shooting and 40% defense on the road. Creighton isn’t nearly the defensive team it’s been in previous years, allowing conference opponents to shoot 46%, while shooting 45% overall and 47% in conference. Creighton lives by the trey even though they don’t have a Kyle Korver on this roster, hoisting 21 treys/game and hitting nearly 40% of them. Wichita’s perimeter D will be a key to winning this game (WSU a strong 28% trey D on the road). Another key to this game will be rebounding. The Shockers regularly out-board opponents (+7.3 rebounding margin) while Creighton is -2.5 boards/game in that important category. Creighton has won 7 straight in this matchup at Omaha and don’t think the Shockers don’t know that they’ve never won in Omaha. We’re learning this Creighton team is a notch below those Blue Jays teams.

Don't believe Illini hot shooting can continue at this pace and MSU should figure out a way to guard people on the perimeter. MSU can score inside if they're patient and I believe Izzo will tell the boys to feed the post more than they have thus far.
