Browse function: allows for you to narrow your selection of handicappers by picking which options you prefer your handicapper to contain. You can narrow results by grade, free picks, guarantees, etc.

Search function: is available to see the grade given by Cappersfile, if a handicapper or handicapping website is already in mind.




Handicapper Grading:
Grades for each Cappersfile are derived from an established criteria set including: 3[SUP]rd[/SUP] party monitoring for record validity, guarantee offerings, domain longevity, active posting of results and archiving picks history.

Grades are given to handicappers on a scale of A, B, C, D and F.
A and B level cappers meet most, if not all, milestones that Cappersfile has identified to be considered a trustworthy handicapper.

C level cappers are not considered to be untrustworthy because they so contain some of the milestones that Cappersfile identifies as a trustworthy handicapper.

D and F level handicappers do not present their information as anticipated by Cappersfile.

Handicappers cannot buy their grade from Cappersfile, they must earn it!

Traditional handicapping theory - 3rd or 4th start after a vacation generally leads to a big effort. Going to run a nice one here. This horse wins a lot of money per race. In the top spot in this event. When a horse drops at least five lbs (like this one is), you must take notice. It may not seem like much, but this certainly could make the difference. BLONDE ON BLONDE - This filly is in a good spot here. Is at the same distance she won at on April 15th.

DOME'S FANCY - When Fincher gives Juarez a leg up on any noble animal, you got to know that with their winning percent you have much more than a fighting chance. Juarez rode this mount for the first time last out and comes right back this time. Faced tougher in the last race at Zia Park. Based on class ratings, this is a weaker field, so I will put this horse on my list of top contenders. I like the fact that this filly's last speed rating, 40, is tops in this group. ALLTHESMALLTHINGS - Evans brings this filly back into a race rather than a workout. He knows his filly is on top of her game. Evans tried her against the males last time out. This should be a good spot. I think Zia Park players know a good thing when they see the jock/conditioner twosome of Eikleberry and Evans. Their winning pct together has been strong. This thoroughbred coming off a good contest in the last month is a serious competitor in my book. Ran last out against a much better field at Zia Park. The move to a lower class level should suit her well.

MAMA ODIE - Will be tough for this animal to beat this bunch off of that last fig. Not likely to improve enough to run a figure anywhere near today's Equibase class figure, so put her on the possibly overvalued equines list. GO SEE TOO - Would have to get much more than the oddsmaker's morning line of 8/1 to invest in this thoroughbred. PLEASING DOM - Would have to get quite a bit more than the morning line odds of 8/1 to play this thoroughbred.

Top HatGUEST COMMENTARY: Winston - ALLTHESMALLTHINGS - Put a prime wager on this filly. In the top spot in earnings per start and has a lot more to offer as well.

In a very weak and inconsistent field (3) ROYAL CAT will offer a fair price and owns a good burst of speed off the gate. (2) PASSIONATEPRINCESS picks up the top driver; threat. (5) HAPPY GO MANNY finds a wide open evenly matched race.

Race 2

(3) GLAM WORLD has been sharp in his last three including a big rally last out from a tough spot. (4) OIL SLICKER has hit the board in thirteen of fourteen starts on the year but the top driver opted elsewhere. (9) SOUTHERN CARE looks terrible on paper but could pick up the pieces late; use underneath.

Race 3

(1) AL BROWN has beaten much better on the year and gets the best post. (5) ALE ALE JANDRO four-year-old gelding went a career best effort last out against a much tougher bunch. The trotter will win for fun with any kind of similar effort. (4) MOM'S LOOKER has just been racing evenly but takes a significant drop in class.

Race 4

(4) REAL IMAGE well bred pacer owns some back class and could be ready for a good effort. (5) REBEL JET looks tough to beat on paper but has one win in twenty starts on the year; use caution. (2) COWBOY ROUNDUP has been racing poorly but is capable against a suspect bunch; use underneath.

Race 5

(3) TABULATOR has more talent than most of the field and just needs a good steer from a provisional driver. (5) TWIGHLIGHT METEOR has raced poorly in his last few but showed much better a few starts prior; threat. (4) BIT O LOOKS takes a significant drop in class and should be in the mix with a smooth trip.

Race 6

In a tough race to gauge (5) R SONOFLIFE faces much easier competition and should offer a nice price. (2) RAMEMBER races very inconsistently from week to week but a good effort puts him on the ticket. (3) OSBORNE'S YANKEE gelding gets sent out for connections that have popped some big miles out of nowhere from time to time.

Race 7

(3) LUKE HENRY was the top driver's choice and will be used aggressively. (2) SPARE TIME GINO went from a good effort to empty last out and owns only one win on the year; use underneath. (1) CANNAE BARRON has been knocking on the door and should be in line for a great trip up close.

Race 8

(9) THE CLASSIC Z TAM switches barns for new connections but keeps the top driver. (4) SF TERRIFIC KISSER takes a significant drop in class and will be used aggressively. (8) U BETTOR WATCH OUT gelding comes into the race sharp but needs to find a way into the race; use underneath.

Race 9

(5) CASHONTHEROCS well bred trotter is lightly raced and has tons of upside. (4) DREAM CRAZED four-year-old also has a lot of ability but needs a good drive from a suspect pilot. (9) MORGANS MAJESTIC has some questions coming in off a scratch but adds lasix for the first time and owns a good burst of speed when right.

Race 10

(7) ONHISHONOR HANOVER should offer great value and is a big threat with an early breather up front. (5) HERE COMES WHITEY is 0 for the year but does pick up a huge driver change. (9) KEYSTONE ROYCE gelding makes his third start back off a long layoff and could have more to offer.

Race 11

(5) OUR CROWN LAW N has beaten better on the year and will look to take no prisoners early. (2) CYCLONE ASHORE makes his first start for new connections coming off some nice efforts. (1) BOB'S ALIBI has made the most money in the field on the year, gets the best post, and the top driver.

Race 12

(8) ROMANTIC PLAY DATE gets sent out second start for a new trainer against a much softer bunch. The pacer needs some racing luck but could have a shot late at a price. (5) SLOT ARTIST picks up a monumental driver change. (4) JACKSONS SPIN morning line favorite looks to have more in the tank for new connections; threat.

Race 13

In a wide open and evenly matched race (9) LUCKY REI will be much closer turning for home and owns a win at this level. (1) MAJOR MIKE benefits from the rail but has just been racing evenly; command a price. (4) WORK WEEK filly makes her second start for a new trainer and showed a good burst last out.

Race 14

(1) PAPA GRANDE owns only one win on the year but gets the best post with gate speed. (9) YANKEE'S RENITA dominated last out and could have more to offer against better. (4) LOTSA JUICE has lacked stamina late but could be a player with a smooth trip.

Race 15

(3) UBETTERUBETTERUBET was an easy winner last out and gets a big post edge on his main rival. (8) LOCK THREE will be tested from the worst post. If the pacer gets a good spot out of the gate he will be tough to beat. (2) FOLLOW THROUGH looks to be pacing faster than most of the field but rarely wins.

Race 1

(1) SWEETIE HEARTS might offer a nice price from the rail and is worth a look. She gets Waples in the bike, has over $200K banked this season and was a Gold winner recently. (3) MUSCLE BABE self destructed last week and may be overbet. (5) KATE SMITH was a winner last week and has been much better as of late for trainer Holland. She's been more consistent and has hit the board in four of her last five.

Race 2

(6) RIVETING ROSIE romped in her latest and appears to be back to her old self. (1) MARGIE gets the rail and was a game second last week. (3) WHITE BECOMES HER has hit the board in 10 of 12 starts this season with over$200K in the bank. She's a must-use for the triactor.

Race 3

(4) GRONK made a break in his latest as the favourite and is capable of a bounce-back effort. Jamieson is back aboard again and the young trotter shows quick speed and draws well. (3) HEMI SEELSTER draws inside, comes from the Bax barn and may offer a fair price. (1) INFINITI AS shows flashes of quick speed and comes from a top trainer. He begins from the rail and should receive an inside trip and offer a nice price.

Race 4

(3) DRAGON WAVE qualified well and shows 1:54 speed. He enters the Pentland barn and is very likeable in here. (6) HARBOR PLACE was a game second last week at a nice price with a solid final quarter. Although winless this season, he shows the speed for this level. (4) R M HAWK has won three straight, draws inside and is capable of the move onto this circuit.

Race 5

(2) CAULFIELD has won four of six career starts, draws inside and looks like the horse to beat in here. (5) A LITTLE MORE LOVE has over $100K banked this season, comes from the McIntosh barn and recovered well following a break last week. (7) ALACRITY continues to be a threat in the provincial program, has a good record and a good option for the triactor.

Race 6

(6) SOMEWHERE FANCY is due for a winning effort following his recent lines. He's been in the hunt and shows terrific final quarter speed. (1) IDEAL MAGIC draws the rail, comes from the Alagna barn and can't be overlooked in here. He raced tough last week following tough fractions on the front. (3) ARAMBLIN HANOVER is fresh off a win and moves up in class.

Race 7

(10) CANBEC KADENCE moves into the Baillargeon barn and that's the main reason for my selection. Hopefully she offers a price. (8) DIONYSIS LINDY perhaps will be the favourite this week following his record this season for new trainer Zeron. (1) MARIO BI draws the rail, comes from the Henriksen barn and was a game second last week in this class.

Race 8

(8) ARQUE HANOVER was very impressive in last week's victory and remains at the same class. (10) ROBERT HILL has been much better in his last two, shows a lot of versatility and comes from the Alagna camp. (3) VAGUE TRACES was a recent winner in his latest qualifier for new trainer Menary. It's an angle to consider if the price is right.

Race 9

(6) DONT RUSH was a winner last week in this class and has a good overall record this season. (7) LUCK O THE IRISH just missed last week, is versatile and likely will continue to offer a price. (1) LETS BE HONEST draws the rail, comes from the Baillargeon barn and hasn't been worse than fourth in his career.

Race 10

(5) SI SEMALU returns home and receives major class relief. He returns to the lasix program and was a winner three back. (1) FOREGO THE CIGAR has won from a post 10 start in each of his last two and now begins from the rail. He moves up in class, but shows he's capable. (6) RAVE ON comes from the Johnson barn and has hit the board in two of his last three.

Race 11

(10) AMERICAN LEGEND comes from the Coleman barn, shows quick speed and is due for his first career win. (6) AMORA BEACH raced in the Metro and put in a sub-par effort in his latest. He's capable of a rebound effort in this field. (2) UTAH BEACH draws inside and has finished third in each of his last two. He continues to offer a low price and comes from the Hudon barn.

Race 12

(7) YS LOTUS hasn't missed the board in his last four starts and has four wins this season. (6) EVEIL DUN CHAMPION has been very consistent as of late and just missed last week in this class. (5) ARRIVED LATE draws in the middle of the gate, comes from the Johnson barn and kicked home in :26 1/5 in his latest.
