SARA RAY C - Figgins brings this mare back into a race rather than a workout. He knows his mare is on top of her game. Figgins has an 'uncoupled' entry here. Best to beware of the longer priced half. Trainer, Figgins, has been deliberate with this mare off the layoff. Look for a solid effort today. 22-24-34 are last three speed ratings. Improving each time out is something she should do again in this race.

TULUM (MEX) - This colt is at the top in earnings per race entered. Take a good look at this horse in the paddock. You have to like this race horse changing from dirt to turf for the first time. He finished on the board on a sluggish dirt track on November 22nd. A sign he may take to turf. This one has increased his Equibase speed figs in each of the last 2 races. That kind of progress is worth considering when its time to bet. CLOAK AND DAGGER - This rider and trainer have a positive return on investment when they combine forces. Horses out of the barn of Keen have been strong on the turf. Should perform well right here. May be extremely hard to beat this steed on the grass today. Last time around the track scored a nice turf fig, the highest of any of these animals. PREACHER PREACHER - Equibase speed figures on the turf point to this horse as a legit contender. Has the best in the field for this distance and surface. Strong average class rating on this horse. Should have the capability to run well on the turf. BOBNATTHEBAR - Diego was aboard this gelding last time out and was impressed enough to take the horse right back. Pish is strong in grass routes. This equine should have no alibis if he doesn't win.
