CBB Sunday: 1-0 (+7*)
YTD: 80-80 (-55.4*)
10* plays: 8-8
NBA Sunday: 1-0
NBA YTD: 7-3

Just finished one of the strangest weeks in my life in cbb. Find myself down quite a few units for the year, after being up almost as much not more than a week earlier.

Have been quietly winning in NBA. Still resistant to posting on the NBA board, since I don't play many games, and consider them as bonus plays on this board, without rating them. However, all NBA games are to be considered big plays since I don't bother with the small stuff in that league.

Since I planned a profitable cbb season, I have to turn things around now. Will reduce my play selection for a while and see how that goes.

I have a conundrum regarding whether keeping a record is a good thing or not. I notice that most people don't -- and I can imagine the reason. So I'm faced with the possibility of making a huge fool of myself, or winning back your faith by coming back from -55 units into the black once again.

I think I'll accept the challenge and continue to post my record, win or lose.

Be back later with tonight's plays.

Reb- you are one of the few cappers I follow here on the boards, and want to tell you I think you made the right decision in continuing to keep a posted record.

It will turn around.

Reb:

I know it was a tough week but if you take a step back you will notice that your overall record is still 50% even with the tough week. This indicates that you are more likely than not to succeed in bringing your record back toward the plus side. My suggestion is that you keep posting your record as it will help you in keeping discipline and don't worry about how it may appear to others. You have a following on this forum that believes in you, so be confident that, in time, things will turn around. Best of luck to you.

Reb,
In general, most cappers are just a slump away from going in the red.57% for the year can become 51% in one bad week. It takes balls to post your opinions on a daily basis and more balls to put your record up there when things aren't going well. You will turn this around.GOOD LUCK.
