For those of you interested and I'm sure you are not, local news reports that the Auburn President flew to Louisville before the Alabama game to meet with Petrino about returning to Auburn to be head coach. All last week,Petrino denied the meeting took place. It has also been reported that Auburn has the 3-4 million necessary to pay off Tuberville.

Lets see, not a head coach for even a full year ( Loiusville), was the Off.Cord. at Aweburn for 1 year, and they think this is the guy to take them to the next level???

There are tons of people/coaches that would be interested in that job. Has Stoops signed the contract with Zona, and thats just 1 that comes to mind.
As for Tubby, kinda hate to see him go(bama fan) cause he will NEVER take them where they want to go, but after he did what he did to Ole Miss when he lied to his players regarding leaving for Aweburn, well, what goes around comes around. And while Bama is trying to recruit and rebuild with Shula, a change at this time of year can do nothing but help, I hpoe, lol. So Tubby, from most of Mississippi, and a bunch of Alabama, see ya.

The Atlanta media is hammering Auburn unmercifully. Auburn's ole buddy, Max Howell who said Auburn was a juggernaut of power and would win the west and probably the SEC is now saying that Auburn had unrealistic expectations due to their talent and the media frenzy. Well, kiss my ass. No SHIT, Max. What a tool.
They now say Auburn is stupid beyond belief and that the Assitants are not out recruiting and basically everyone is in limbo. It seems as if Louder, Housel and Walker made a trip to Louisville last night in Louder's plane and met secretly with Petrino. Meanwhile they had already told Tubby he was history. Petrino surveyed the situation and said no thanks and now Auburn is caught between a rock and a hard place.

Their arrogance thinking they could fly in and wave a checkbook and walk out with a coach is absolutely unbelievable. The question is now, did they actually fire Tubby? If so he collects his 4 mil, if they renege and say they did not actually fire him then he cannot quit and collect his 4 mil. So Auburn has to find a coach quick or go through another year with a coach they don't want. Imagine that Bama and LSU and Georgia are not going to grab some recruits from this mess. Yeah, right!

There are no top name coaches out there, folks. Everything in the coaching circus is now a crap shoot. You may find a coach in the MAC or CUSA or a good asst, but it can and will be chancy. Expect the SEC commissioner to be blowing a gasket with Auburn's actions and also the ramifications will make the SEC look like crap when it comes to the UnGodly worship of college football.

Auburn could not have done anything "more stupider" than this. Bama has to be laughing their asses off. If Tubby can, he will take his money and laugh all the way to the bank and be coaching somewhere next fall.

As I said in an earlier post, the media jackals are in a feeding frenzy. Walker and Housel are nothing more than lackeys of Louder. Maybe, just maybe, someone at Auburn will step up and say enough is enough. Although I seriously doubt it.

What a joke.Auburn President apologizes and says he wants Tuberville to stay.Louisville A.D. is on television saying he had no idea that Auburn came to Louisville to meet with Petrino.Petrino says he is sorry-Tuberville made him better man, better coach, better father

Now if you are Tuberville what do you do?

In another circus event that could only happen in Alabama-If you watched the Alabama-Auburn game-Remember the sideline interview that Adrian Karsten did with ex-Auburn cheerleader that transferred to Alabama after 3 years and is now on Alabama squad.Karsten prods him to say "war eagle" after he says "roll tide".He says it,switchboards light up and he is kicked off cheerleading squad.Mal Moore encorages him to quit and he would not,so mal boots him. This story is on local news every night. How many Bama players you think have been busted for alcohol or drugs and remained on team?I am a Bama fan,but Mal Moore is a ****ing clown.

I agree. Mal Moore has been Bama's problem all along and deserves to get a pink slip for Christmas.
