Season total wins for Florida was at 7.5

i took the under and UF finished 6-5. Their first game of the year was cancelled.

So when the regular season ended last night, my UF under was marked a win, then this afternoon the bet got graded a "no bet" and my winnings taken away.

obviously BS, right? Even if the cancelled game was counted as a win, it's still Under. My agent said he would try to get it fixed, but I need to raise hell, right?

total bullshit in my book.

I am sure the bet had "must play 12 games" rule which would make bet a refund.

Was just going to say that. Think of this too, hypothetically, say Florida was actually 7-4, and you had the team total wins over 7.5... now you would be asking for a refund from the book and not want to take a loss on that bet.

If you look at pinnacle, 365, and some others, they list that rule specifically on their website. My site has a specific section on future bets in football and it says nothing about all games must be played. It talks about conference champ games don't count, etc, but nothing about all 12 have to be played.

the fact really is florida sucked, their coach got fired and I don't think it had much to do with the first game in which they were a 37 or favorite. They didn't play a scrimmage.

if the full schedule is not completed most shops will rule " no action " if you had the over you would be getting refunded too

This is the rule posted at Pinnacle

College Football Season Wins Rules:

Bowl Games and Conference Championship Games are NOT used towards teams season wins total - Regular Season Games ONLY.

Teams must play every scheduled regular season game for action.

Lots of sites will post this rule where the bets are listed.

yeah, I understand that's what pinnacles says.....that what I was saying. My point was my site doesn't mention that anywhere, although it mentions other rules about season total bets.

if I bet the over, I would be a man about it and realize the game UF was a 37pt fav is a win. In my preseason analysis, obviously I counted that as a loss and they counted it as a loss. If it was a critical game that got cancelled, I may understand.

Like I said lots of sites will post this rule where the bets are listed, TheGreek does it this way in bold orange letters.

If the game decided they bet, then I would understand. The game didn't change the analysis of the over/under.

if it was posted within the rules, I wouldn't like it, but I'd let it go.

its bullshit and they didn't post the rule on the website.

Over 7.5 was clearly a loser. They need to honor the bet.

I have to disagree with you here. The bet should be graded no action. Season total bets are based on a complete regular season slate of games. In this case, those games were not all played so it would be wrong to grade wagers at anything but no action. I do agree that they should have had this posted for customers to see so potential questions could be avoided.
