Hearing Pence is "in the lead". Thoughts on whom it will end up being?

Rumor has it that Pence will be announced at a rally in Indiana tonight.

I hope not. Think that would be a huge mistake for Trump.

There is only one man for the job - Gingrich.

He has said that he is ready to serve. He knows the game as well as anyone, worked effectively with Bill Clinton when he was Speaker of the House, has a keen understanding of history, and of conservative principles and can articulate why those principles are good for the individual and the country, and just as importantly, can eloquently point out the failings of liberalism.

He could guide Trump through the morass of the Federal Government and could seize on every opportunity to get the message to the people, something that Trump sometimes fails at.

Gingrich is my choice. Easily.

Well said, but my only concern is will it alienate any shot he has at young or black vote?

Michelanelo- Considering we both want him to pick Gingrich and you and I are last and second to last in the seeding round in the baseball handicapping contest it might be a good thing he picks somebody other than Newt.

By "took a chance" he means Trump called him and told him "I'm picking Mike Pence so bet before the odds move NeverBend, it'll be the greatest most fantastic bet ever"

Black vote? Blacks vote 90% for dems - they are the least educated voters out there - blindly vote dem - dems told them they can get them some free shit and like crack they got hooked - no chance for the black vote - Condi Rice could be the nominee and she would get 10% of the black vote
