I think I would take yes. Seems that everyone is simultaneously realizing that it's stupid to be illegal on the books, and that nobody respects the law anyway. I've seen a major push by ESPN to intentionally talk about gambling, even during broadcasts. My favorite was Danny Kanell on a Friday night game saying Buffalo could sneak in the backdoor here and cover the 35.5 on this drive. ESPN scores page now lists the line and total for every cbb game. McCain is a gambler and said recently that it's going to be discussed in Congress. Silver really not afraid to push for it. Seems like a no-brainer.

False. MJ will be legal every where before sports betting. The culture is changing about sports betting, and it will happen eventually.

Who are the biggest pockets that fight it? I haven't looked in to it much. Is it Vegas or Religious groups, liberal groups? Seems like something that should be so easy to just pass.

WRONG.
They would cut that shit off faster than you could come to a Katy Perry porno if betting was legal in the US.

Yeah pretty much. Juice would be the same and unless they 1099'd you for a specific casino for like an online account then taxes would probably only be on wins of >9999

Be way easier to fund and get paid out and you are dealing with a publicly traded US company.

I dont think offshore would go away due to this. People dont want to be taxed on their winnings although not too many people would be betting games for over the threshold of individually taxed wins...If that loophole is used then I can see more people using it, but it is still convenient to bet online.

So if your options are betting somewhere legal where you know you will get paid vs somewhere illegal where you have to jump through hoops to even try and get paid the offshore will still "rule"

LOL...get the fuck outta here. You've lost your mind

It ain't the easiest thing in the world. Let's say there is a site called westgatesports.com and you can just go in, use PP/CC and be playing within minutes and get paid whenever you want within minutes. You think people are choosing those books over that option?

Like Loomis says, no chance
