Trouble with Sportsnow pager

I bought it off a guy on Ebay and it's worked great.

Today I keep getting a "call 800-...." message

Have they figured out the pirated pagers??

Anyone else having this problem?

I had this problem about 3 yrs ago I think its a scam it lasted 3 months then i got that message....was the guy you bought it from on ebay from florida?

I bought one from a guy in Florida, Glenn and it worked great but the buttons started to go after a couple years.

I bought this one from a guy in Texas in June.

I did read that sportsnow was changing their frequency or something soon. Just wanted to know what was up and if anyone else was having problems.

There is no way in hell I would pay $40 per month for a pager, I still have the Espn to go from Ebay and that works ok. But it isn't as good as the Sportsnow of course.

The fee free SportsNow pagers are done. They have finally moved on to the Flex format. This new flex technology allows them to change the codes for all their customers at will. If anyone knows of any other good deals on pagers please let us know.

no chance in hell,mine says motorola on top and adviser elite on the bottom

 

They sent a letter out saying that they where switching everyones pagers out by September 1st. I got a new one UPS yesterday. They claim all the previous ones will die between Aug 31 and Sept 2. The new one is totally different.
