Good luck with the Waves but I would caution with these facts:

Pepperdine has UCLA next at Pauley on Saturday. Impossible for them to not have one eye on a much more meaningful contest ahead. Vegas is playing well and should improve with each outing under Krueger.

Westphal is a prominent name in the USC coaching search. No doubt he has fended off that question many times in the past few days. If he is distracted by this scuttle butt, no doubt his team will be. Westphal is a former great Trojan player and a return to his Alma Mater could be in the cards.
