British People douse a food in some sorta liquid often. When I was in jail in Winchester the first time through the chow line dude slaps cake on my tray then a dude next to him ladles bright florescent pink shit all over it. I'm like: WTF I seriously thought it was a thing he did just to mess with The Yank.
Thereafter I'd demand the glazing crap be kept separate, like, in a bowl or (if available) it's own compartment on the tray instead of all over the cake and every single time even though it was the exact same servers it'd bring the line to an absolute halt while all the Brits looked at me as though I'd just let the last match go out without lighting a fag post lockdown for the night. British people are just strange man.
