went home during christmas and gobbled up a few. up here in north dakota and wyoming they think a philly cheesesteak is made with roast beef. i try and tell them "no. i dont want a roast beef sandwich, i want a cheesesteak." then they give you that lost look. cant even get any decent hoagie rolls up here. ^^

That's awesome. Yeah that Pat's vs. Geno's thing is like the Red Sox and the Yankees I hear. You are usually loyal to one and not the other. I saw someone from Philly area on a talk show the other night and he was saying something like "no way I never have set foot in Pat's and I never will." The host was like "oh come on you got to try Pat's just once" and he was like "no way, I'm not doing it. I'm a Geno's guy".Going to be in Philadelphia for the Next 3 Days.....and Will be Stopping by Pats, Geno's and Maybe Larry's....Some of the BEST CheeseSteaks Ever Made.

Brother, let me tell you about Cheese Steaks. Go to the Pennsport Pub close to the docs in south philly. It's a seedy looking spot, but they make a killer Cheese Steak and at the same time you can watch strippers make the rounds on the U shaped bar... What a great combo!
Also, Dalessandro's in North Philly is better then both Pats and Geno's. Tony Lukes has a great pork sandwich not to be missed!

I was down in Philly a few months ago and after a night out, the girl I was with drove us to get some Pat's which hit the spot. I don't get the whole Pat's vs Geno's thing :think2: I'm sure both serve up good cheesesteaks. And how much difference can you really taste when you spent all night :drink:
