Track Takes

Hi, I posted this in the horse racing forum yesterday, but didn't get any feedback:

2 questions:

1) Does anyone know where there might be a list of track holds for Win Place & Show wagers for most or all the U.S. tracks (I think they're regulated by the state where the track is located)?

2) Do all of the major books offshore (Pinnacle, etc) co-mingle with the tracks, or do they simply book them, meaning offshore wagers don't affect the closing odds?

The second question imo is yes and no. I believe many books just book and have no effect on track pools. Others do have a direct hook-up to pools. Which tracks do and do not Is a good question. Maybe some others have more info than I on the question.

Pinnacle certainly has the ability to put your money in the pool if they deem necessary. Maybe also MyHorseracing.com. eHorse claims that they don't, but I have heard that they may if you are a steady winner.

The rest seem to book only, and your bet will not affect the odds. Otherwise, why would they cut your limits or boot you if you win too much?

pinnacle, with there 7% rebate is a great place to play. As far as if they get in the pools?? Im sure that they do sometimes when the handle is high and they protect themselves, but most of the times they take the bet im sure. With the 7& rebate the risk to reward wouldn't be worth it. Just my opinion because I have no way of knowing for sure.

I have been betting with Pinnacle since Oct .I am moderate bettor 200 max check it no signs of going into pools coujd easily tell because I bet into small pools > have bet other places that put you into pools have no intrest in them, also Pinnacle 7% and no limit on bets or payout is great cap is also generous
