Tough to get on this site from public computer

This isnt really related to gamlbing, but it is sort of funny. Wel when I was using a library computer the other day during a conference, i logged on to place a few bets. Well i first tried to get into my yahoo email account without success. Then I tried to get into this site without any success due to anit gambling and sex filters. Yes it said that.


So then I was pissed, so I said, what the hell, let me try to get into a posrtsbook. Wouldnt you know it that I was able to place bets in 3 books!!! But the funny thing is that i couldnt log into this site at all

Hope the library destroys the computer record before the Feds want to get a copy.

Cannot begin to tell you how many public computors I have used to access THERX. I would say that in roughly 85-90% of the time you will be able to access the site. Think I have been in every college library between Tampa and Las Vegas.

ps- I highly recommend the campus library in Norman, OK at the Univ. of Oklahoma. When visitiing Tampa, the USF library is definetly worth a trip.

Well The school I work for has not blocked it YET. Thank God, I do not want to have to go sit in the lounge during my break between my classes. I am the youngest person in that lounge by 20 years.

My understanding is that any public institution that has computers that are funded by gov't must turn off the filters if you ask them. You just need the balls to go ask

Pretty sad that government authorities want to control your activity like that, but then again with all the lawsuits out there it becomes inevitable. Imagine some loser goes into a library and looks at some smut and then rapes a woman. Woman gets a high priced lawyer and sues the library for causing this crime. Or fill in gambling instead, guy loses couple grand and sues the library for allowing him to place the bets. Litigation is the cause of many of these controls, not government.
