Have you seen the SEC in these bowls? Entirely different level. Too fast and physical. Coker playing well and RB Henry should have a field day on this Small Clemson D. Making my LOCK of the year before the line goes up

ALABAMA -7

I will add to this play by taking them ML and doing several teasers with them

I just saw the line drop to -6.5, stupid in my opinion. Unless this game is rigged somehow, which I could see happening, bama should win by 17.... If I win my Oregon bet I'm automatically hammering Alabama, especially if I can still grab them at less than a td after today.... I just think Clemson is a two man show that hasn't seen a defense of this caliber all year... Alabama may seem like a one man show but it's really a 6-7 man show with that offensive line and TEs paving the way for Henry.... If Coker just manages the game they should go wire to wire and win handedly. I'm predicting 34-17

Disagree completely. Alabama is phenomenal. But let's not start buying the hype of the best team ever again. The sec has had mostly favorable match ups in the bows so far (although the lambasting of mich st was impressive). But let's not forget, Ohio st drug them all over the field last year. Something like 7-8 in their last 15 bowls (that's a joke of a star just thrown in to kiss Bama fans off that doesn't mean anything, but I put it in because they are subject to being beat when they are not granted an ideal matchup). Clemson has plenty of nfl talent on the field too (lawson, kearse, Alexander, Goodson, and in the future tankersley, Bryant, Wilkins, etc.). They are not "small." Bama may win, but it will be close and Clemson has a huge ads vantage at qb, the most important position on the field. Clemson has been given poor odds late in the season because the general public has no idea how wel Dabo has recruited. I would have thought the line would be 9-10, so that makes me think it's a field game goal or less and Clemson could win--30-26 or something!!

And who gives Bama the most problems are athletic, speedy, mobile QB's as witnessed last year with Ohio St. If Bama wins it will be a field goal or less.

Looks like I'm not the only one that likes Bama with about 70% of action coming in on them

Call me a sucker but my line locally is presently jacked up to 9 and unless the real line dips below 7 I will never see anything under 9. I teased Minnesota on a 7T with Clemson +16. It pained me to do so but with so much on the line I like that many points. And I hate that Bama played a perfect game.

Alabama will concentrate on taking away the run so they can get after the QB. Bama's defense
held Michigan State to a season low 239 yards, including just 29 yards rushing. That included four
sacks and six tackles for loss.

Clemson rushed for 312 yards against Oklahoma. That AIN'T going to happen against Alabama's
front four. The Tigers have 10 straight games of 500 yards or more on offense. (Oklahoma, North
Carolina, South Carolina, Wake Forest, Syracuse, FSU, NC State, Miami, Boston College, Georgia Tech)

For Clemson to hang in this game, Watson is going to have to play one hell of a game. If Bama shuts
down the run, it could be a long afternoon for the quarterback.

In no way would I compare Bama and Oklahoma. Bama is the class of the fields. Their d line rotation would make many nfl teams jealous! But I do think Watson has ice water in his veins and is capable of a 200 yd passing, 100 yd rushing 3 td performance which against Bama would be a helluva performance! I think venables and the d can concentrate on Henry who will still get 125+ Tds and make Coker beat them. He has played better but is prone to a mistake or two. That's what I am hoping for as a Clemson fan! Hope for a good game!

Albeit long ago Mississippi beat Alabama in the third game of the season. In that game Chad Kelly passed for 341 yards and three touchdowns. Don't think the Tide has faced anyone quite like Watson and running back Wayne Galman gives them a legitimate running game.

A spy will be on watson at all times mark it. Front 4 WILL stop the RBs that clem will throw at them. Watson will have to do it through the air

You think that will be some sort of new thing? They'll be the first team to try that?

Don't think Alabama had 5 turnovers in any other game like the Ole Miss game. Alabama
beat themselves in that game. Yes, if the Tide turns the ball over 5 times against Clemson
they will lose. I wouldn't bet my tractor on it happening again.

Could you and your fellow "Bamers" start hitting Bama a little harder? I'd like to get +10.

It's a joke, man. Settle down. No need to let your negative opinions of me from "basement" derail this thread. Just tweaking Bama fans that seem eager to bet this game as if it's already been played.
