Blue Jays starter Hyun Jin Ryu has performed poorly in every game that did not come against poor competition. He yielded an FIP (like ERA but factors out fielding) over five in three of his four starts this season. The one exception came against a Reds squad that averages fewer than three runs per road game.

Los Angeles, however, is one of baseball's most prolific teams in terms of runs per game. The Angels will win easily also because Shohei Ohtani takes the mound. Ohtani has been a model of consistency, having allowed a combined total of four earned runs in three home starts this season.
