I love going to away games. So far it's been mostly for football. I have been to Washington and Columbus for hockey and have had a blast. I've hung with plenty of Toronto fans here in Pittsburgh and they've been cool as Hell. That seems to be the case whenever I meet people who travel here. Nobody wants trouble when you take a trip to someone else's back yard. My question is, are Toronto fans that cool when they host? I know you can't judge everyone as a whole, and you're always gonna meet assholes wherever you go.

My worst travel experience has been at a Baltimore Ravens games. Wow, the assholes we ran into there. Don't get me wrong, there's plenty of drunken fuck heads here in Pittsburgh. Are you guys in Toronto good hosts? I'd really like to go the this season.

I'd imagine so. But like I said, there's assholes in every bunch.

I go to at least 2 leaf games a year and that's only because I would go broke. The vibe here is a lot different especially the platinum seats, it's all corporate business men in suits and ties sending emails. I also take just over an hr drive to buffalo when leafs visit and wow that's night and day.

Leaf fans are more electric but sure tickets are 60% cheaper beer also cheaper so you get those leaf fans who can afford to watch a game and the vibe is great

That's part of why I wanna go. Toronto fans are awesome in Pittsburgh, can only imagine how fun they'd be at home.

If you come to a game in Toronto, you had better arrange for tickets beforehand because if you buy them here you will pay a fortune. U cant get tickets at the box office the day of game either, as every game is sold out well in advance. If you plan to buy good seats off of scalpers, bring $800 for a pair. In terms of the fans, I promise you there will be no problems whatsoever. Leafs fans are extremely conservative. You can be the loudest person in the arena screaming your head off for the other team and NOBODY will say boo. You are safe in Toronto at any Leaf game even if you make a complete fool of yourself. Again, mplastered, I urge you to arrange for tickets before coming because they are near impossible to get on the day of the game (or anytime for that matter) unless your buying off scalpers. Been living in Toronto for over 50 years and I wouldnt steer you wrong.

This.

Been close to getting in scraps at Sabre games. Never any trouble cheering for Boston at a Leaf game.

if you want to party with leaf fans, party with them on the road... i go with my friends to montreal every year for a leafs/habs game... the arena is electric, you can smell the hate in the air.... the ACC on the other hand, is quiet... boring.... the "real" leaf fans arent in attendance.... you will never see more gucci and versace suits anywhere else... you can rock a baby to sleep in that arena... none of those people in attendance care for the game... theyre all there treating their new clients and/or bosses younger sons... im a diehard redwing fan... i was at all 3 games last year and we swept them... it was beautiful... i got kicked out of 2 of them for "being too loud"... security guard actually told me that "one of the seasons tickets holders complained you are too loud" .... what a joke... also, the year prior to last, i was kicked out of the arena for throwing an octopus on the ice :)...

but yea, go watch a leaf/habs game in montreal.

The World Cup is coming back, which will probably be the end of Pros in the Olympics. Personally I'd prefer a world cup, where world hockey is actually played in cities where hockey is popular, and you can bet on it in Vegas.
