Aloha Gang. Well, I stayed away from playing games on the weekday so that I could spend more attention to this Saturdays card, in hopes to repeat last weeks + 21 units day. That was my best winning day for College football this year, and one which I look to continue for me and you. Consistency is Key to success, and this Saturday's Plays should follow that winning trend providing us with another profitable day. SO LETS GET TO ROCKIN!
5 Unit BIG CONF.USA POM on:
TCU -7 (WINNER)
-TCU is much to superior for this Cincy team, and they will show why their ranked #10. To much to lose here for TCU to allow any let downs or slow downs in all its remaining games. Motivation and excitment high for Hornfrogs as well as for fans, in light of their BCS possibilities. Cincy's only strength is the run, TCU's def ranked #10 stopping it, not good news for the Bearcats. This home field should be loud and hostile and provide more than enough excitment and energy for the Hornfrogs to easily secure a double digit win today.
4 Unit Plays on:
ND -8.5(WIN) , UCLA - 2.5(LOSE) , LSU -6.5(WIN)
-ND should be able to man handle this weak and deflated BYU team. The BYU Def. will be pounded by ND's ground game and their Off. if any shows up, won't be much of a threat to them.
-UCLA got spanked last week like I thought they would, but today is their game to spank back. Oregon was lucky last week to pull off an upset of Calif., but they don't have enough of what it takes to do it twice, and especialy, not at this place. This number being low gives us the advantage, should this be a close game down the stretch.
-LSU #3 ranked, Alabama still trying to find out who stoll their traditional winning ways, won't find it here against this team whos spanking everything in front of them since that loss to Florida. Alabama's tank and talent has only enough to compete with the Tigers for 2, maybe 3 quarters, until LSU's dominance completely takes over. Number -6.5, also low enough to where one play by WR Henderson, should be all thats needed to win. And who,if any, will be able to stop him should they need that big play. Exactly!
3 Unit Plays on:
WISC. -2(W), NM -4(WIN), TOLEDO +2.5(WIN), UTAH ST.-6.5(LOSE)
-WISC. upset Ohio St. here with a backup QB. I think they can do it again with a backup RB, should RB Davis not be able to play. Mich St., must be out of gas or running on fumes after losing the last 2 games against Michigan and Ohio ST. Now they have to face another ground it and pound it team for a third week, I think that is to much to ask from anyone. Plus, Michigan and Ohio St. already tenderized this team and stole all of its energy and motivation they had, after going on a 5 game win streak. Another added advantage, is that Wisc. Def. against the pass. Its a very tough one to bend let along break, and they should take care of any Smoker threats.
-NM, simple, at home , Off. consisting of a balance attack which is very good and clicking. AF one dimensional attack, on the road after playing a very emotional and long game at home, which resulted in a heartbreaking loss to Utah in the end, not yet healed enough emotionally to take on a team with this talent and motivation thats on a roll to secure their spot at the top. Flyboys get grounded again.
-Toledo wants this one big. They are playing fairly well and have this one at home where they do alot of scoring. Not a good place to be for the #19 ranked N. ILL squad who may be taking this game alittle lightly, in light of their bigger upsets they had this year. Rockets fuel up and ready to blast off in this one. Upset special in this one.
-Utah St. the better of two down teams , playing at home where temp. and altitude is at their advantage. Nonetheless, it will be their overall better talent they posses over this opponent, that secures what should be an easy win for them today.
2 Unit Plays on:
La Tech +1(LOSE), WASH. +6(LOSE)
-La Tech. posses probably the worst def., stat wise, in the entire NCAA. But this game is not going to be won or be depended upon to be won by any deffense play, from both teams, today. This game, and these two teams, will depend on what every week they depend on to win, their QB's. So with that said, I take La Tech's McCown, one of the nations top QB's, if not the best, against Tulsa's James Killian, any day. Plain and simple, La Tech will shoot it out or should I say air it out, and Tulsa better keep up. To much to ask.
-WASH is a team which still possess alot of threats that can change the complexity of any game they play. QB Pickett, WR Williams, etc. have proven many times at doing this. Today, I see others joining in on taking advantage of an emotionally down Calif. team, now at home after letting a game they dominated all day get by them. This uncertainty along with these gamebreakers on hand, as well as, generous points in our favor, just seems to scream Washingto Huskies. So look for WASH and its big time players to possibily stealing yet another game here from Calif.
Ok gang, these are the games so far that are locked and loaded for tomorrows showdowns. I am very confident that they will provide us with another profitable day. Their are still some games that also have very good situational advantages going in their favors, and I will possibly be adding them on as the day goes by, so stay tuned for them. Also, I will be posting my Hawaii play in a separate post from this one, as many have requested my thoughts and/or opinions concerning this game. So as for now, I wish everyone a very successful day tomorrow and lets kick some major ass. Aloha CC.
