WOW - i'd pay 5 times the ticket price to see shania on stage than celine

of the money celine brought in - $80,399,900 was brought in by women, gay men and men who were told by their female s/o that if they didn't attend the show the next time they got sex from these women was when hell froze over. the sole $100 brought in by a hetrosexual male was a hockey fan who was told "Marcel Dionne" was there and signing autographs and it wasn't until it was too late did he realize he had been tricked.

...only if was promised that Charlie Simmer and Dave Taylor would provide a cameo appearance.

I like George Straight... also agree about Shania.... I like Cher too--& i'm straight: funny, that's like a code question in NYC-- if a guy asks another one if he likes Cher, you know what he's really asking.

I like Rod Stewart-- & his albums of classic American songs....

Prince no1? Bette Midler still at it?

Elton John, the stuck-up snob who threw a fit when Phil Collins beat him out of an award years ago.....

John Mayer, barred by his former high school from accepting an award? WTF were they thinking? It's not like he does gangsta music or anything like that.....

I would have thought that Alan Jackson/Martina McBride would have been higher up on the list, at least as high as any other country acts...I think that would be about as big a show as you would get in country..

They must have played at some small venues...

Bette Midler can still perform with the best of them....

And when Cher, and Elton John both came here, the shows sold out in less than a day...So no big surprise on those....
