This is a list I compiled of the top 10 Cappers that post in the sports forums here at The Rx. In order for a capper to make my list he has to be a proven winner (at least 1 + full seasons at any sport). In addition, it has to be a someone who adds some class to his posts. No mortal locks or guarantees in the top 10.

1. Super Scout -- Baseball
The man consistently gave out winners day in and day out. He posted all his plays with great writeups. Super Scout defined class. If anyone posted something in his thread he was sure to reply in the classiest way. Many people made a killing followng his baseball plays in the 2002 season!

2. Sixth Sense -- NFL
This man had such amazing writeups that I would not have to even look at a game before capping it and just had to follow him. He had an unbelievable record this year in the NFL. Everyone should read his threads

3. ATX - Baseball/NBA
Where have you gone ATX? A money management genius and a consistent winner in both sports. He taught me alot aboutthe importance of money management. His plays were golden.

4. Dogball -- Baseball
Dogball was a notch below the great Super Scout. Who can forget Dogball's run in the 2002 MLB playoffs. Sheer Briiliance. His baseball plays cashed in at a feverish pace. I made alot of money riding the Dogball train.

5. NYReb -- NCAA
A must read a few of the "Reb's" writeups and you will be swayed to his side. A class act whether he is winning or losing. Its always refreshing to see NYReb on your side for any NCAA game.

6. OccamsRazor -- NBA
"Speaks softly but carries a big stick" Thats the line that comes to mind when I read Occam's "Play O The Day". I will take his quality over most cappers quality any day of the week. Keep giving those amazing plays of the day out, big man!

7. SSI - Baseball/NBA
SSI is also pure class. We already see he is a proven winner in the NBA but he really caught my eye this last baseball season. Who can forget his ultimatum plays. He went on a serious run and finished near the top in the most units won column of the MLB Challenge, despite some family issues. He defines the word persistance.

8. MYFOOTBALLGAME - NFL
Did anyone see the record this man put forth this NFL season? 53-24 - You dont need glasses. That's right 53-24 at FOOTBALL! I wouldnt believe it if I did not see his plays every week. The man beat the books EVERY NFL Sunday!

9. Kodiak NBA/MLB
I know I will get some heat for this but when Kodiak isn't messing around with flaming and trying to prove himself in challenges, he is a downright great capper. Aside MLB 2003 this man was plus units in every sport. I still follow some of his plays today.

10. SEAUrchin - Golf
The man is golden ont he links. Check his cards out daily. If he gives you a golf play, make sure to take it. He cashes his tickets in at an alarming pace. A very, very valuable asset because there is alot of money to be made on the gof tournaments.

Once again, this is just my list. If anyone thinks someone should be added to the list or someone is TOP 10 caliber, feel free to share it with us in this thread!

This is a very fine list MC....For some reason lately these type of threads have been sinking like the Titanic lately....Well thought out and deserves to be looked over for anyone who could use assistance...that being said, I have never hitched a ride (been fortunate enough to catch anyone at the right time) , I just never have been able to catch someone at the beginning of a hot streak

....

Dogball and Scout back in 2002, you could have literally made a small fortune playing their plays the second half of the season....I had my own great year and wanted to piggyback either or both but never could step in at the right time...I think Scout won like 10 weeks straight or something insane, and Dog was right there if not a step above, they were both phenomenal

Bobby Bryde was solid in the NHL Forum. I hope Dog can get a hassle free thread going this baseball season. I never could understand why cappers, no matter how well they do, are subject to flaming and harrasment. Constructive critism sure, I have no problem with that. Outright name calling or slander is never beneficial, and imo. needless.

While I am on the subject, I have always had good luck with Dimeplayersonly's sharp players moves. When he posts sharps are on xyz -3.5 etc. Good stuff.

You know why these types of threads are buried quickly? Most of these posters here are not real gamblers. They are just here interested in the soap opera type of threads and not into making money gambling.

I haven't been around here long enough to talk about "all time" greats but the guys who stand out to me are:

Omahamoneymaker: Straight talk, no bs, intelligent analysis and good picks. Knows his shlt and does not overestimate himself. If anything he errs on the side of caution which tells me he's gonna be in the game for a long time. I just wish he'd do more write-ups and not get so depressed about losing streaks or lack of attention.

Railbird: Very knowledgable on certain teams in NCAA Hoops and Foots. Often has an angle that nobody else has and in today's game, this is what you need to excel. The usual stats and ATS analysis doesn't cut it with me. Rail goes a step further and talks about stuff which is NOT built in to the odds.

Co-Captain: Just recently discovered him, but writes intelligently and brings a fresh perspective to the game. Like Rail, not your typical ATS analyzer.

SSI: A solid workhorse and good fundamentals handicapper. If he's on the other side of my pick, I have to think twice about betting.
