Bump.

After speaking with some older folks last night, I thought about this thread from months ago. They reminded me how people nowadays fail to understand they can learn from others.

Instead, seems like folks here are often times more concerned with nitpicking other peoples input, than trying to learn from each other.

Ignorant things like blowing up someones thread correcting spelling and grammar...which is often useless if you understood the intent of the post.

Anyway, everyone enjoy the game this evening.

you know what, i think i went a little over the edge yesterday. doc mercer got me so pissed off, i insulted him in a few posts and for that, i apologize. i dont feel like i can learn anything from him...the other liberals like xpanda and eek...maybe so but the doc is so far gone its impossible. however, that still doesnt give me the right to call him a moron.

sorry doc. good luck to you.

Politics get us all firery, I have gotten my fair share of "pep talks" from the moderaters for saying my "cuss" words too much. As well as getting into it with other posters on the forum. But I think these arguments are great and healthy as long as we know how far to go. I have gotten into it with Doc before too, but I like having him in the forums because he brings balance to the conversations a lot of the time.

Sorry Blue! I was being silly, comparing our Judge with that clown on tv, he and Rusty(did you remember Rusty?) combined couldn't match our Judge's wisdom! :lolBIG:

Truth:

the only ones messed up in the head are the folks tha buy this proganda from the Bush PR machine ....

I guess being "messed up in the head" is someone who is against our kids dying needlessly in Iraq?

I guess being "messed up in the head" is someone who is against this govt spending 300 billion dollars to set up an Islamic govt in Iraq?

I guess being "messed up in the head" is someone who refuses to not try and understand why the Bushies were so oppossed to a full investigation into 9-11??

The Minority in this country are Bush backers ... I am happy as hell to be "messed up" in the head if that is the case as this guy is a flappin lunatic

this is a wake up call to every american. The lines have been drawn. The bottom line is if you support this administration and its agenda you are complicent in the destruction of the planet and humanity.
Our leaders are criminals and should be stoppped.
Have faith in God for the righteous shall inflict great destruction unto the unrighteous and the planet will eraze all negativity.

I have to agree!

We're all Americans, or in the case of xpanda et al, American wannabe's (LOL), so we should recognize our right to voice our opinions. At the same time, it can get heated as we take umbrage at something the other side said.

Judge, you gotta remember that we're not all as even keeled as you are. And most of the posters in here tend to be very opinionated - why else be here.

Sometimes I feel almost pompous saying this, but it's the truth - I went to war to protect the rights of those whom I disagree with.

I just wish the other side could make such a statement.
