Seattle -16. Don't like to spot that many points in the NFL, and at the same time don't feel good about having my money on the Rams. No telling with an interim coach what is gonna happen, but I don't see an offensive machine all of a sudden with the Rams. After Seattle got embarrassed last week at GB, they are prolly gonna kick ass...........but 16 pts, I dunno. GL to all.:think2:

I see tons of value in +16. Rams the one team that always give seattle trouble. I just dont get the 16 though. Rams beat seattle at home and always play them extremely tough. IMO the line should be 4-6, not 16. I dont get it but win or lose my $$ is on rams.

Weather is always a factor when trying to handicap football games (NFL or College) but it is never the primary consideration. The forecast for Seattle tonight is
temperatures in the mid-30's at kick-off and no-precipitation (night games always add to the gloom especially during the month of December in the Pacific Northwest.
I can see a 24-14 or 30-13 Seattle win (Seahawks putting out just-enough) The number is currently (39) with my book. So......I'm going to pass.

Sometimes weather is a '"primary consideration...
5-6 years ago, Jax went to Cleveland in late December, it was freezing and windy, both teams were out of it, Cleveland was - 3, they won by 20 or so, Jax could't (or didn't want to) even catch a pass.
To a lessor extent, a lot of cold weather games have been lost by warmer weather teams so far this year, Dallas @ NYG, Oakland @ KC, Houston @ GB, a few more.
But that one was so obvious, Jax had nothing to play for, in the freezing snow, I was all over the Browns, at home, used to the cold.

That is a narrative that goes around and I disagree.
It is random, not meaningful.
This year Rams played Seattle when Wilson was hobbling badly, probably should not have played and the green Seattle OL had not jelled and were terrible (now they have jelled, now are mediocre).
In previous years Rams played Seattle in SL after a nice winning streak and Seattle was flat, Rams had a long streak where they played them at the right time.
Tonight is the wrong time, and angry embarrassed Seahawk team, revenge from the early loss to the Rams, chilly for the LA boys, Rams with the worst O in the NFL, terrible OL, rookie QB, against a solid Seahawk D. And yes Seattle has more sacks this year than the Rams.
SURE 16 might be too much but the more I look at it I am going from 35-13 to 41-10 type of game. Goff will give up 3 TO's at least. You touch him, he fumbles. (reminds me of Tim Robbins in "Bull Durham" except Tim Robbins is tougher)

Rams first half team total is so low: 3.5.

this game is tricky. Lean UNDER of maybe STL (first half) +10. The Rams defense isn't that bad

Yes Rams have only scored in garbage time the last 5-6 games, and gotten no where the first half, but that is an unusual low number. I do not know if I would take Rams + 10 first half, though.

If Wilson throws like he did last week and the receivers still have brick hands, Rams may keep it within the number

I decided on FH UNDER 20. I think Goff is a mess. But 16 points is a lot for a matchup that has historically been close with the Rams showing up. But avoiding a side for now. Rams have beat SEA 3 straight times, only gave up 3 points earlier this season (though Wilson was gimpy).

Goff is worth 16pts alone for the other team. Have a feeling he'll have 3 or more turnovers.
