The Steelers have made the playoffs every other season they were 6-1 or better (1978, 1975, 1974, 1973) and won the Super Bowl three of those four seasons.

Concidentally or not, the Steelers will recognize the 25th anniversary of their last Super Bowl championship team by saluting the 1979 Steelers on Sunday. Hall of Famer Terry Bradshaw was the quarterback of that team, yet his 1970 rookie numbers (six touchdowns, 24 interceptions) can't compare to Roethlisberger's (70.1 completion percentage, a 104.7 passer rating, 9 touchdowns, four interceptions, one interception in his last 116 passes).

Shawn,I remember being in the Italian Club in Latrobe many years ago. Was Monday night fb on. 25 cents for a Rolling Rock pony,50 cents for a shot of Jack. Then at halftime they gave us free Italiam sausage sandwhiches. Last time I remember getting blasted for 10$.

Go Eagles - a loss by Pittsburg will drop them a game behind the Jets (if win tonite) and the Pats in AFC homefield standings. The Pats had to lose sometime in some ways they are probably glad the win streak pressure is gone. Now they can get back to winning their division and going from there. Bottom line they (Pats) are still Super Bowl Champs.

Can they win again this season? I believe they have a shot but are definite underdogs to do so.
