Tired of the McNabb bashing

Mcnabb takes alot of crap but they guy is pretty good qb

they are in a tough division and consistently make it to the playoffs
yea eagles have good defense and westbrook but mcnabb is the face and the leader of that team

he has never had a pro bowl caliber receiver.
when he did eagles made it to the super bowl and if i remember correctly owens did not play one playoff game

stallworth looked like he was going to be a good fit but 11games 5tds and 700 yards is hardly much

give the eagles marvin harrison. reggie wayne. moss. steve smith. torry holt. boldin fitz. someone else that can catch a ball and he would probably be number 1 or 2 qb in the league. possibly competing for the mvp

look at tom brady. no decent recievers and always had a good seasons. much like mcnabb, what happens? pats get moss. brady breaks the td record

give the guy a break

Agree with about half of that. But there's a few bothersome things about this guy... his body language is awful and he's not a natural leader, just too goofy out there.

Couldn't agree more with both of you. McNabb is a top 5 QB, but if he had the heart of Peyton or (godforbid) Farve Philadelphia would rally around this guy like nothing you have ever seen. Give him a legit threat at WR (I think D. Jackson will be a stud some day, but not your prototypical #1) and you can see what he does. The problem I see is that his skin is a little too think to play in Philly. We are a VERY unforgiving crowd and hate it when you laugh after you throw a wormburner...that just doesn't sit well here.

he is hit or miss at best, if he has that dumb chunky eating soup grin on his face you may have a chance to win, but as soon as things start not going his way he bails.

think back to the last few years they were in the playoffs. we went to the super bowl, how you might ask?

two years ago almost made it to the title game NFC, amazing 5-1 record ending the season, when mcnabb went out in week 10 and Jeff Garcia carried us in.

this will be teh first season in a while that mcnabb hasnt gotten injured, or faked an injury to get away from a bad season.

lets see what he does, cause here in philly we have no fath outside of regular season in him.
