Football is my second sport but I've been working on a system for a long time. This will be my first year ever tracking myself and sticking to smart money management. I will be posting my plays here to track myself and get insight from respected cappers. College Basketball is my 1st sport and my winning sport but I'm hoping the changes I've made will help football become a winning sport as well.

All opinions and insight will be appreciated. The more the better. I work on a 1-5 unit system but my biggest plays, probably 4-5 a year will be 8 units. Good luck to everyone and may we all have a winning season. I will supply a write up for every play because there's no point in just posting a play. If you're trying to get insight and help, which I am, I think you need to post the reasoning for your plays.

College Sports are easier to beat than Pro-Sports in my opinion. I hope this can be a successful season.

1 Unit Plays

NW -6 1/2 (-110)
- I think NW is a much better team this season and that they should beat Duke easily. They were embarrassed by them last year and I think that is fresh in the players mind. This game shouldn't be close, but you never know in College Football. Especially when teams are on the road.

Cinci +20 1/2 (-110) - I think Cincinnati is a far better team than people believe. They should be able to keep it close with Oklahoma and even have a chance of pulling the upset if Oklahoma doesn't keep an eye on them.

2 Unit Plays

Penn State -16 1/2 (-110)
- They have some of the best skill position players in the country and Darrel Clarke has a chance to be the next Michael Robinson for this team. Their secondary is young and inexperienced but there front four should get enough pressure on Okie State to keep the secondary off an island. Their offense has a chance to be explosive and there's nothing quite like playing in Happy Valley on Saturday.

South Florida -14 (-110) - They are one of the elite teams in the country IMO and will be even better this year than they were last year. They have a lot of speed and a gamer at quarterback. They shouldn't be tested in this game.

3 Unit Plays

LSU -24 (-110) -
Troy State is not as good as App State and LSU's defense is dominating. If they get the offensive production that they got vs. App State they should win this game by 30+. They may be the best team in the SEC again and they won't look past this game.

I like your plays

Of them I like NW the best. That is favorite pick this week.
The Cincy cover might not be a bad play. Your only risking one unit so I think that is sound. I know Lou Holts have been talking a lot about Cincy be really crafty in this game.

LSU is you big play of the week. I would say that has a very good chance of hitting.

On the other side of Okla/Cincy. Have to believe Oklahoma has a statement to make and early home games are where it is done. This is a lean year for Big East and although Cincy is respectable that doesn't get it done at Norman. Glad to be rolling 20.5 as line should be closer to 28.
Okla 55 Cin 17

Good Luck throughout the season

Don't like the NW and USF plays.

I was not impressed with NW against Syracuse, and Duke always covers the first few games with a new coach. This is not exactly a mismatch, as Duke managed to beat NW last year. I understand the revenge angle, but I think it's less significant than the new-coach factor.

For UCF, this is a huge revenge game, and the line is too high based on power ratings before you even factor in the revenge angle.

Not a Big fan of the Cincy play. Think Oklahoma D shuts Cincy down, and Oklahoma O should be able to run all over Cinci D. I do like NW play, and LSU should come out big especially after the huricane they know they bring the sunshine out for the people of LA.

Oklahoma is gonna blow out Cincinnati. Has anyone looked at the size difference between OU's O-Line and Cincy's D-Line. It's ridiculous. Line seems high at -21, but oddsmaker is simply telling you that the rout will be on in this one. Cincy matches up better with smaller/speedy teams. Against an enormous team like OU, they are in way over their heads.
