Hi All,<o></o>
<o> </o>
I would like to start off by saying that I wish every business owner that goes into the bar business in this area (Escazu, <st1:City><st1lace>Santa Ana</st1lace></st1:City>, etc) the best of luck. As a Gringo myself, and a former business owner there are many road blocks that face these business owners. Dependable help and a staff that is trainable is without a doubt the biggest hurdle that any bar owner faces here. <o></o>
<o> </o>
In saying that, then you have your haters for what ever reason they pick their pet peeve: your prices are too high, you won’t deliver to my location, not enough parking, etc.<o></o>
<o> </o>
Thank God there are other establishments that bring competition to each other in this area. They all offer a different atmosphere to the customer to pick and choose to their liking.<o></o>
<o> </o>
I will not do any finger pointing. It is definitely not my place but I can assure you this: a tone is set when any person will call another business owners place a dump. I have eaten at most of the places mentioned here on this forum and if I was unhappy with any service, I made sure I went to the manager or the owner directly and let them know my concerns. <o></o>
<o> </o>
I think one of the great things about this country is that you can patronize an establishment here and get great food, have a great time, and the owner didn’t have to go broke trying to impress customers with a high dollar look. We all know this gets passed to the customer to pay for over time as well. Once again for the ones who do decide to go fancy I’m sure they have done the research and will make it work.<o></o>
<o> </o>
The owner of the Time Out Tavern built his business from hard work. The BLACK TARP does not describe that business at all. There is not a month that goes by that there are not new improvements being made to accommodate the customers including upgrading TVs and seating and expanding customer service, etc. <o></o>
<o> </o>
On a last note, if you are going to post nasty remarks about the Time Out Tavern, Steve will most likely tell you to kiss off. On the other hand, if you speak with him about it in person or call him, I know him to be the kind of businessman that will do what ever is with in reason to make sure you are treated fairly.
Cheers :toast:<o></o>
