Do people in Costa Rica evan know about this. Feb 7th At Rostock, Germany (Integrated Sports PPV): Ruslan Chagaev vs. Carl Davis Drumond, 12 rounds, for Chagaev's WBA heavyweight title;

What ever happened with those two cops that were shot in front of Carl Davis house in Costa Rica. Guys roll up behind a cop car that is wathcing Carl Davis house after he just got arrested for rape (He was innocent). They get out shoot the the cops walk inside Carl Davis house and come out with a box and we never hear anything about it again..........

Corruption is one of the things that makes Costa Rica such a beautiful country..................

Like I tell all the others who complain about CR......LEAVE(Its a free country)!!!

This country is not for everyone.............I personally like the wild west atmosphere CR has offered for the past 12 years I have lived here. I will die here and I would go to war for this beautiful country and its people anyday!!!!

On a side note the US has become a better place to live the past 3 days now that we have Mr. Obama in office making changes and fixing up the place. Maybe its time you go to the USA Derek?

Two things about this fight, one, I dont think Carl Davis is ready to face a world champion. I must say Im not entirely familiar with Chagaev's career, he is the lesser known of the heavy weight fighters, but I have seen who Davis has fought and they are no where near world champion boxers. Davis record, on paper looks impressive but once you see those fights you realize they don't amount to much. Even though I think Davis is a good fighter, I dont think he is ready for something like this. The guys behind him have wanted him to fight better opponents quick because of his age, but I think this jump is too much for him to handle.

If Im not mistaken, Chagaev lives in Germany, in other words he has home field advantage and in a sport as corrupt as this, you gotta figure that any kind of decision would go the home boy's (as well as world Champion) way.

Of course I'll be rooting for Davis to win but I think he is not ready for this fight yet.

That is one line out there that I found.....Personally, I think -4000 more accurate line. I think taking the Russian is a bargain, but it is always tough to lay that kind of price in boxing.

It would be a party.... I used to go to the fights at the Palacio. Davis was always the main event. Fights wouldn´t even go 2 rounds. I swear they would pick up his opponents at bus stops on the way to the fight. One guy had on gray tube socks and tennis shoes in the ring. One punch knockout..........

I would love to see him bring home a world title to our beautiful country.

Unfortunately Costa Rica doesn´t breed much talent. Caludia Poll is German, and Mayorga was a NICA REGALADOfinger................Franklin Chang Diaz is an astronaut and local celebrity, but he comes from chinese decent............ Lobito was good on bikes, but he´s paralyzed now and soccer.......... Well let even go there.
