may I offer a touch of friendly advice ...I have been doing this for coming on 12 years or so I have some experience. I am by NO MEANS an expert, however, I can assure you that betting on every team...while you may do OK for a while will KILL you in the long run...The Vig will kill you. As you may have also heard on this thread, playing the heavy favorites, is also a killer...

not trying to be a 'know it all' just hoping to offer some friendly advice...I just started a new website which is simply my avatar name...& will be posting helpful articles for newbies over there.

I have heard that a lot, and respect the opinions of others, but I have to try it on my own to learn. I'm playing with a small amount of money right now to see if I can make it work. I do believe, however, that trying to WIN one unit on a heavy favorite can kill you, but playing one unit is just as dangerous on any team. Same risk, but different reward...

Thanks for the advice, but check with me at the end of the season and I'll let you know how it's working for me
