The Jets won those games by scores of 6-2 at Boston, and 8-1, at Winnipeg. While the Bruins have been great at home, they've been nothing special on the road. The Jets are off b2b losses. However, the first of those was at Edmonton and they were playing their second game in two days. The second loss was against another top tier opponent (Dallas) and the Jets had a 33-19 edge in shots. Coach Scott Arniel was happy with the Jets effort: “But at the end of the day, I can’t knock the guys and the work ethic. The compete was there. I knew it was going to have to be, but we have to do that against Boston. We can’t just do that against Dallas because they’re in our division. It has to be a constant from everybody, and that’s what I’m going to try to harp on for the next couple days here ...That was a heck of a game from us." The Jets won their last two home games against the Bruins by a combined score of 13-2. Look for them to dig deep and come away with the important victory.
