Very interesting games this week. Some surprises in the lines.

5* Stanford +3'
I'm not sure anyone thought ASU would be laying points in this game. Both teams can bang inside but Trees now that they are healthy have run off a nice string of wins. Expect a close one as Devils will stay in it from the foul line but they are not as deep as the Trees and if front line gets in foul trouble that spells trouble

7* Arizona -13
Best thing that happened to this young team is that WSU came in and showed them that they could be beaten if they don't come in focused. Lute has been running 5 on 5 scrimmages this week and has been rather surly to those close. He wants both of these this week and the Pac10 enters the 2nd half.

3* St Mary's +10
We all know Zags can play but remember, St Marys is leading the league with and has been impressive on the road and at home. Top tier teams in the league have proven that they can play with Zags home or away. Until Zags learn to defend the perimeter against athletic teams gotta take the DD's.

5* Denver -14
This could be 20 and it probably would not matter. Agg don't have the thought of Sweet Lou returning so team and staff much looser but this is tough gym of late for anyone in this conference to win on especially for teams without offensive weapons.

4* Rice -11'
I know I have been on Owls of late and they let me down last week but expect a big bounce back in this one as they face BSU team that the destroyed in Boise earlier this year. Some teams need a team to kick around and BSU has been it for Owls of late. I know UTEP and revenger on deck but smart kids like Rice has won't look ahead.

2-1 in early action as St Marys and Rice cruise to easy victories but fell into the ASU/Stanford trap and sided with Trees in losing effort.

GL on the rest of the action.

i am going to pass on denver 2nd half -9.5...seems too pricey considering how NMS is playing. Under 79 probably worth a look...no way NMS shoots 63% the 2nd half. Pace is very fast though....best hope is that Denver gets back into it and both teams work for good shots. Not much D being played first half. I'm passing, but would lean under 2h.
