Thursday, November 4

Last night I pulled the hat trick for you releasing 3 consecutive comp play winners with the Sonics easily cashing. Tonight let's go for 4 straight as we move from the NBA to CFB focusing on tonight's Mid-American Conference Championship game.

In tonight's Mid-American Conference Championship game, the outcome will be decided by the play of the QBs. All eyes will be on Ben Roethlisberger who's a drop-back passer that has picked apart defenses for more than 10,000 yards in his career, and Josh Harris who has more weapons with his accurate arm and the ability to run. In tonight's contest Bowling Green's QB Josh Harris will be playing with a sense of redemption after suffering the worst defeat of the Falcon's season with a 33-10 thrashing on November 4th, handed to them by this very same Miami of Ohio squad as the Redhawks will be looking to repeat taking the Crown.

Roethlisberger has the ability to do this very thing leading the offense of the Redhawks (11-1 SU and 8-4 ATS) who's thrown for 3,670 yards and 29 TDs this season. Roethlisberger is only the fifth quarterback in MAC history to surpass 10,000 career passing yards, and he's only a junior. On the other side of the ball Josh Harris has been nearly as prolific this year for the Falcons (10-2 SU and 6-4 ATS ), throwing for 3,167 yards and 22 TDs. Harris also ran for 679 yards and 11 TDs where scored on the ground.

Per game the Falcons put up 506.5 offensive yards a game and Miami racks up 480.5 yards per contest. Defensively, the RedHawks allow 17.8 points a game and the Falcons give up 19.2 per contest. This is a big game for both schools, not only the Conference title is up for grabs, so is a Bowl Game bid for the Falcons to the Motor City Bowl in Detroit. If the Falcons can't get the job done tonight, the Motor City Bowl might select Northern Illinois instead, even though the Falcons beat the Huskies handily earlier in the season.

With this in mind, a long with the redemption factor in place, I see the Falcons of Bowling Green playing a very solid game in a high scoring affair. Falcon's Coachs will make adjustments with the offensive line who will protect Harris much better. Last meeting the RedHawks came at Harris with lots of pressure and forced him into three fumbles, but not tonight! Harris will have a much better game as this one stays close, if the Falcons can't get the win straight up, the Falcons plus the points looks really good.
