OK, I dont know what Slayer-style means... I admit it. But I like today's slate of games. Flat betting them, and I think we go 2-1, minimum.

4* New Jersey Nets +1 (-105)
4* Miami Heat pick 'em (-116)
4* Denver Nuggets -4 (-112)

It's 4* each play.

As I mentioned in a previous thread...when I play in the playoffs, it's out of 10*. Regular season is 5* max. I risk more in the playoffs because things are magnified and games play out more accurately. Thats why I've always done well in postseason sports.

So these plays are 4 out of 10 ranking. I've only had one 5* play, and that is a solid play ranking, nothing I am hanging my hat on, but a solid play nonetheless. There will be games this postseason where I'll have 7* and 10* plays. Which for me is $700 or $1,000 on one game, which is more than I can handle on one game.

These are 3 solid plays that I am looking for 2-1 minimum. I do not tilt. There's TONS of playoffs left to go, and it's just the beginning. Whether or not I get out of the red tonight has no bearing of how well I do over the long haul of these playoffs.

I feel comfortable putting $400 on each team, as I am putting my money on 2 of the best eastern conference teams with no point spreads, and a western conference team that is desperate and plays well at home.

I dont like to put my money on "trap lines" or on a team that the public is heavy on... but 4* it is... i am with you ! Even if we dont hit today, i still believe u will be on the positive side towards the end of the playoff. GL..

n Mia vs Chic (obviously setup!) all chicago had to do was to pass to the worst player in the team b/c mia will open up for an ez shot

I agree. I'm big on avoiding trap lines, but I thought the Bulls played outstanding basketball in Miami and still came up short. I thought the Heat showed they have been able to withstand the Bulls 3-pointers. I didnt anticipate Shaq getting into foul trouble so early like that. He's been on the bench the whole game, so the Bulls have been able to double and triple Wade. Shaq's also hurting their defense by not being in the game. Heat just did not come to play tonight.

I dont think the Indy game was a trap line though. Indy took 1 in NJ, so I figured them to be small favorites in Indy.
