Hurry hurry if you can this line his moving fast...

Stanford -5 1/2 / UCLA

You all thought the trees had no offense at the start of the year... Didn't you? Well I can understand that after W1 vs. NW. But just look at them now. The Bruins will be hard pressed just trying to keep pace...especially against Stanford's defense which appears to be tough as nails. Get on this one before the line moves too much. Wouldn't 5 1/2 been a nice number to lay in the Utah /Cal game last Saturday?

Damn Mr. C....good you are still KICKING.

I'm not having a great CFB season so far BUT during the off season I have been steadfast on
Stanford. I thought Stanford would be a player in the Pac-12 and took a lot of crap for my
belief in this team from some.

What's your thoughts on Utah? (no, not Oregon)

I will never understand why a team like Stanford with perhaps one of the best football programs and coaches in the country.
W Luck
Webb needed about 8 games last year to groom Kevin Hogan to step into Andrew Lucks shoes and they were off and running by the last month of 2014. Who cares?

I will never understand why a team like Stanford with perhaps one of the best football programs and coaches in the country has to take nothing but shit from all the pundits and their "public yowsa sirs". Pure blind stupidity! Their bankrolls are all the proof anyone needs

It took David Webb 8 weeks to groom Kevin Hogan to step into Andrew Luck's shoes and by November their offense was putting out. But... It was too late for anyone to care about anything THAT relevant since an understandably slow start resulted in everyone from ESPN on down writing them off.

FUQUE!! Is everyone stupid or is it just me?

So nice of you to chime into my thread my friend.

To make it short and sweet --
Utah was and still is my dark-horse candidate in the Pac.

They are perhaps the most well balanced team in the conference. To put it into words you can relate to Clover, next to LSU's Fornette, Utah has perhaps the best all-purpose RB in the USA in the person of Devonte Booker.

If the Utes survive both Zona teams, they could go undefeated and easily rank in the. top 4...maybe better than that. I know that some of my glowing remarks could be premature but Utah was a giant killer at one time (def. Bama in the Sugar Bowl (? ) as I recall) when Urban Meyer was their HC and we all know where he wound up shortly thereafter. Nottingham was/is his replacement hired by the same braintrust that discove red and put Urban Meyer in the headlines.

I think Wittingham is a brilliant tactician. Other teams fear playing the Utes especially at Rice-Eckels Stadium. They had been hiding out in the MWC for years where its teams are never taken too seriously however as I remember them they were a pain in the ass to play under HC Kyle Wittingham . Perhaps they've arrived once again and Florida once more has their eyes on Utah's HC. But this time he's unavailable since he already has a kushy job in a power 5 conference.

Conan whom would you like to pick between these 2 ? USC vs Notre Dame ?

The short answer is Notre Dame.

Please respect my need to concentrate and don't inquire about games I am not talking about. You have no idea how attempting to answer random questions fucks up my concentration. Bad stuff.

In this one case I already plan to use this game on my card so it.worked out. But in the future please refrain.

You may inquire about any game I've picked for the current week

Clover...
Do you remember who defeated the Wolverines in week 1? Their one and only loss.

How cool is this?

It looks like Stanford and Utah are on course to play in this year's Pac-12 CCG. Still there's still a lot of football yet to play, but honestly, who would have paired up these 2 teams to duke it out for the conference championship?

Cal also looms large and the North division champ may well be decided in "The Game" at the end of end of the season. I mean WOW!!

On the off chance Cal can knock the Cardinal out when they play, I think a rematch with Cal and the Utes could turn out very differently.

OK... Now I'm starting to sound a little crazy suggesting that Cal even has a shot. But everyone I mentioned is a quality contender after 6 weeks into 2015.

I made this number at -9 myself. Couldn't believe it at -5.5, almost gave me pause. If Kevin Hogan isn't battered and bloody by the end of the game I think this cashes.
