I'm on the public side tonight. Nebraska and the under in the rain. If Mizzou wins I think the over cashes. But I think Nebraska has looked very impressive even against lowly opponents.
For example:
They beat Florida Atlantic 49-3. South Carolina scored 38 points and gave up 16 points to the same team.
They beat Ark. State 38-9. Iowa beat the same team only 21-24.
They also beat UL-Lafayette 55-0. LSU put up 31 and gave up 3.
Basically, they did play crappy teams, but absolutely dominated them.
I don't think that Mizzou has played a much more difficult schedule and while they have won handily, they certainly didn't dominate Nevada and Bowling Green. In fact, Nevada was a couple turnovers away from winning that game.
The rain and the wind help Nebraska IMO as well.
Also, I hate to go against the Thurs. night dog, but Nebraska is well rested and the short week travel isn't a factor here.
I really think Nebraska is the better team, and if they run well and control the clock and wear down Mizzou's defense, then they should win by at least 6 or 7.
I can see this being a 24-14 kind of game...
