Thread threshold for everyone..

I propose their be a thread threshold of two per person per day. Think this will solve all our problems and would encourage everyone the opportunity to respond to eachother's thread.

DEAC... how many threads do you post a day? For me, it is usually 1 or less. Today is different and I have no met the "threashold" I am proposing.

If we do that, we make it 5 or 6. There is a lot of news to talk about in a day, and we should have the opprtunity to talk about it!
I think there should be a private message feature, like the one on the RX's Football Forum!! That we don't have to use new thread titles just 4 the purpose of communicating with each other (I know of no other way to do it)! I've done that several times 2day!!

No! You can't make a rule "for everyone" because of one bad apple. It's the same principle as asking little old ladies to take off their shoes at airports, because a young male with olive complexion, would feel he's being singled out.

I would also like to add... It SHOULD be applied to everyone as that is fair.

Lastly, if you want to exceed the threshold, then I propose that a waiver request be written to a mod to post 3 or more.

If all 50 of the regular daily poly forum posters posted the max threshold threads, then we would have 100 threads a day! I doubt we have that many thread started a day if we were to exclude Doc's thread count. It seems fair.

So you reiterated my point. Most people in this forum don't start more than 2 threads. I prefer quality of quantity myself (except if we are talking about women).

I like reading this forum, and also try to contribute on occasion, but there is too much bashing garbage to sift through, just to find an actual debate going one that doesn't intail all the name calling if someone from the opposing side doesn't agree with your post.......
