Auburn -13.5 vs. South Carolina...how much does Spurrior play into this line?

Florida -3.5 at Alabama. Alabama struggled with Arkansas. Meyer the way better coach here.

Colorado -3 at Oklahoma State...Doesn't Oklahoma State suck despite being 3-0

Tennessee -21.5 vs. Mississippi...is this a let down spot? Can Tenn. beat anyone by 21.5?

LSU -14 at MSU...will LSU be pissed off and lay the wood like it should or will Monday's emotions come into play.

Other games I like outside the Pac 10

Wyoming kills UNLV...UNLV is a bad team and will be out of breath in the 2nd quarter.

I've been blowing on totals, but I see SDSU and BYU going over the total this week. SDSU has a decent offense going against BYU's depleted defense. BYU's QB should throw for 400 vs. SDSU's crappy defense.

WC..Your right about OSU. Their defense is the only thing that's going to keep them in games this season.

Lose the BYU/SDSU over. San Jose St marched up and down the field against the Aztecs. 2 good offenses and 2 poor defenses. This one could reach the 80s. :toast:

WC, already on Wyoming -16.5, so I definitely agree with you there...also on UCLA -21...agree that Colorado is the side, will definitely consider this one if it hits -3...which it may do...LSU has owned the series against MSU...worth looking into some more...GL...

I've had my eyes on Wyoming ever since they whupped the Bruins in the bowl game last season. I think this team is for real. Utah doesn't own the MWC any more like they used to.

Oregon/Stanford

Pags, this one is basically a play against Stanford. I think they are a mess right now. Of course there's the possible rebound factor after that devastating loss to UC Davis, but just watch, as soon as Oregon gets a break it will be all downhill for a team that has been seriously down for a while. Their morale must be quite shakey. Harris has won nobody over to his cause yet. I wouldn't be surprised to hear their own fans booing every time they make a silly mistake or get penalized in a way that costs them. They really got slammed big time in the local papers for losing to Davis. That so-called home field edge will work against them if their fans ride them like what's been happening around town lately.

What's Trent Edwards' status? When's he returning?

OK Pags, so it's my money and yours too. I also read where some sportswriters have called their loss to UC Davis the worst loss by any 1-A team in NCAA football history, something on the order of a junior college team whuppin the Trojans at the coliseum. That's how bad they see it.

I guess I'm guilty of piling on. :)

Yesterday he was upgraded to probable, but Harris stated that Edwards will absolutely be playing. I wonder if he would have said that if not for the UC Davis loss and a bit of desperation and panic? Perhaps if the Cardinal don't pick it up, Harris won't last the season. That's just a maybe but he is definitely on the spot right now.

South Carolina and Auburn. The number is about right here as SC offense did show signs of life last week, yes i know they were playing a cupcake. But the offense did make headway here.

Florida and Bama. I think Florida its the dead right side here but the linesmaker thought the game should be close and you know the power of the home doggie.
Still think Florida wins and covers this one. Florida has tooo much of most everything for me to have Bama.

Colorado and Oklahoma State. Well Colorado left most everything they had in Miami last week. Offense could not score, even from the 10 yard line late to get the cover. Oklahoma State weak at best on offense and defense will have to hold them in the game here. Colorado defense pretty good but they are banged up after trip to Florida and Colorado QB questionable.

LSU and Mississippi State
Well if it were up to the players one would think that LSU would get the money here, but the coaching of Miles and his tag-a-longs will probably not let that happen. After folding the tent in the second half of the Tenn game, yes you remember those boys from Tenn that would NOT quit monday night they might, just might surprise you and go ALL the way from there, Tennesse that is.

obtw WC you were not the only one that thought the USC Oregon Total was the nuts "over" last week.

The worst part about it is my number was 63...when they took that TD off the board for Oregon in the 4th Quarter after the after TD penalty call (but a tough one to make), they took $$$$$ out of my pocket.

After the first half of the USC game the over bet looked done, so I loaded up on the ASU/OSU over...and I had already loaded up on it. I figured one of the two was going over. I needed that last drive by OSU to be a TD in the worst way.

Got my money back but I'm done playing totals

The Wyoming line will definitely go up, so you are wise to put it in early. UNLV looks like dog shit right now. They might be one of the worst teams in college football.

I am glad that you got your money back on the Oregon State game total over.
But you didnt mention that one to us beforehand. And some of us went in with ONLY the USC game over the posted total. But like i mentioned before you are not the only one that was wrong about the total and it could have, but didnt go over, but it could have because you had the GOOD number going for you.

South Carolina quarterback's out here I think. If Alabama can beat this team that bad at home, then Auburn can definitely beat them at home soundly. I try to be levelheaded, but coming from a homer,so take it for what it's worth. I think AU is pretty good. They've gotten thier running game going, I know it's been against some cupcakes, but I will be really worried if they don't run for a bunch Saturday. The defense is healthy. I think they are much better than when they played Georgia Tech. Courntney Taylor may be out for AU, but they are really deep at reciever. Just my two cents on this one. However, -13 1/2 anytime against a decent SEC game is still alot.

Should be a really important game for Bama so they should give it thier best effort and the crowd will be SUPER pumped, first really meaningful game in a long time. However, talent is on Florida's side and so is depth.

Insiders, no he didn't mention it (OSU/ASU over) but I did. I think most of us West Coast guys play each others picks so it wouldn't surprise me if WC did bet it. When we agree it's because we all follow what's going on and how it is is just how it is.

Both Oregon games looked like high scoring affairs but personally, I didn't count on USC's defense to look that good and shut down the Ducks the way they did either. I happened to luck out and bet everything I had in my accounts on a bunch of selections before I got to the Duck/over wager so I escaped this loss but I'll admit it was just my good luck that I did.

So keep your eyes open here and good luck to you.
