Thoughts on SC/UWash?

Some good points made to me about a long trip from Ohio and now another long trip to Seattle. Barkley getting a big head form the back patting and still nursing a bum throwing shoulder. UW looking very improved and brimming with confidence while it's obvious that SC isn't as good as they have been. Not saying UW wins, but a 3td line (I think it was - off board currently) seems awfully high.

Any thoughts from anyone on this?

I like Washington at +21. USC not sure of QB situation with Barkley's injury. How healthy are Corp and Mays?

Old USC coaching staff at Washington now.

Coming off a HUGE game at Ohio St.

Travelling again this week to UW, and USC has struggled in their first Pac-10 game over the past few years.


A lot of reasons to like UW + the points.

Line was -45 1/2 last year. I think they already adjusted from that as the line is what around -21.

Not saying USC covers, just saying why I wouldn't feel comfortable with the 21.

If I thought this was last year's UW team or last year's SC team I wouldn't think of it..but one is better and the other is not.

Your absolutely right.

Way different line. From 45 1/2 to 21, I'm just saying they already adjusted for everything you mention.

1. Can Wash stop USC running game?
2. Can Wash run on USC?

1. Can USC stop Wash running game?
2. Can USC run on Wash?

Personally, Just wouldn't feel safe with the 21. I know I'm putting to much on the past USC teams. I wouldn't feel safe taking USC -21 either.

Rookie QB, first conf game on the road, might be very sore, Wash all fired up, Locker healthy and off to a good start, possible let down after the Ohio State game, (although I doubt it with Carroll),

then I see Idaho scoring so many points, and I wonder will they stop USC enough to cover the number, I can't be sure if they can score enough or not agianst the USC D, if that's the case then maybe over,

Wash was close two years ago at home though against a real good USC team.

Good luck whoever you take. There's nothing I'd like more than to see USC get beat out right!

Bingo. Seen this happen in the past with large dogs. Looks like its the "sharp" play to take the pts, then the dog gets blown out.

One example that comes to mind is last year when Florida played South Carolina, everyone thought it was sharp to take the points, didnt work out so well. USC or no play here
