Thoughts on Purdue @ Iowa?

I thought this line opened a little high at around 19 and now has moved even higher all the way up to 23. Not sure what's behind that move, but it looks like good value on the Boilers. Iowa does not necessarily need to impress, just keep on winning and they do have Nebraska on deck, not a huge look ahead but still. Anyways gonna take the bait here with Purdue +23

Purdue can't stop the run and Iowa runs it very well. Iowa gives up around 300/yds a game, excellent numbers. Purdue isn't going to run it for much, can they throw it well enough to sustain drives??

Purdue hasn't done much on offense the last several games, while Iowa has scored 30+ routinely. Iowa not exactly a covering machine at home.

I'm on Iowa for a small wager, don't love it, but can't back Purdue on the road.

I think Iowa "smells blood" this week knowing they have a shot at a Big-10 title and even a playoff berth if they win-out....A big [if] but stranger things have happened in college football now days.

Iowa is 8-17 its last 25 as home chalk and 2-4 ATS at home this year. Iowa 4-15 ATS in the role of DD chalk in the last 10 years. Boilermakers 7-1 ATS their last eight on Big Ten road. Backdoor

My thoughts exactly Ace, Iowa will be up by something like 24 in the 4th and Purdue will get a late garbage TD to get the $

Pudue beat Neb by 10 for what's it worth. The way everyone is talking about Okl crunching I think would make everyone wanting to crunch opponent. That's a lot of points but probably why the line is up so high. Definitely right about Iowa, if they don't lose any games their in.

Purdue freshman qb has played well as have the team in two of the last three games and purdue has played a tough schedule. Iowa is @ Neb next week and all but two wins has been under 16 pts with the best games on the resume being a 30pt win @ northwestern and a 4 pt win @ wis ...seems like a generous offering at +23 which is why i took it!
