Thoughts on Orlando trying to finish 3rd?

The more I look at this, the more it appears plausible. They want to avoid playing the Pistons

i dont think they care where they finish. its just late in the season theyre just gettin lazy. it has nothin to do wit top spot or anythin.. they kno they can kill any team behind them in the standings.

I think that Charlotte was eliminated last night with there loss to Oklahoma City

I said it in the other thread. They're not going to make it obvious that they're tanking for 3rd spot, but if they are in a tie with Boston on the last game, you better believe the Bobcats will come out winning. Miami or Philly look a lot more appealing than the deadly piston team.

It's not completely out of the question but I think its more that Orlando is just overrated and playing poorly right now. They are GREAT at times, but are incredibly dependent on outside shooting and their inside scorer can't make FT's. When they are hitting shots they look amazing and can beat anyone, but when they arent hitting their threes, they can lose to just about anyone as well.
