Anyone have any thoughts at FSU traveling to Utah to play the Cougars? I like this game a lot!

-6 would have been a lot better. tough laying 7 when you know you could have got the all critical .5 point when lines were released.

FSU needed every second on the clock to beat Jax St... granted, it was pouring for much of the whole game. FSU's pass defense is definitely in question after both the Miami and Jax St games. It is my opinion, BYU's aerial attack is better than both aforementioned team.

BYU by a ton...still undervalued team

they held their own on both line of scrimmages well before Bradford went down

FSU has a ton of speed all over the field but are undisciplined and dumb as dirt team

especially in the secondary

FSU is a square dog IMO

So far, BYU looks like the majority side by a long shot. 85% of the money is currently backing the Cougars. Florida State is no public darling this week.

This is a definite stay away game.Fsu always does well in these situations. They thrive on these types of games.I dontthink byu has seen speed like this.Even from oklahoma.

Who cares about speed with a secondary as bad as FSUs? They aren't that fast. Max Hall will have a career day.

And the bias thing only works with two teams that can actually play.

BYU will win this game. Max Hall will probably run the Cougars too far off for Fl St. I've seen them play in these marquee home games dozens of times. Usually their "marquee" opponent gets left in the dust. I almost put this one in the WC thread but I don't usually write up MWC plays if they don't play another WC school. Wish it wasn't a TD just the same. I sleepwalked through the card last Sunday. I got there late anyway. I think they will beat them by 10+ just the same... maybe better than that.

The key matchup here is FSU's secondary, which looked terrible v. Miami, against Max Hall who has 5+ solid targets.

If Hall has time he will shred the FSU D.

I got news for some.....BYU is a real good team....Bradford played for a quarter and a half and BYU's D was for real.

Tough to back FSU here after the outright loss to Miami-FL and last week's scare against Jacksonville State. This program is one 7-9 win season away from officially entering the "sleeping giant" ranks.

Love BYU in this spot. They're coming into this game red hot and know this is one of the 3 big ones left on the schedule (FSU, TCU, Holy War). Here is another opportunity for them to make a statement on national TV - this time at home.

Shocking how undervalued BYU continues to be. If FSU was in BYU's spot, the line would be -17.

I've watched both BYU's games this year, and Max Hall may be the best QB in the country outside the Big 3. The offense is exceptional, and the D is solid. Couple that with FSU travelling out to Utah, gotta love the Cougars.

Have been eyeing this game since July. BYU is tailor made to beat a team like FSU. Tough, physical, disciplined, use their tight ends well ect. On top of that FSU's secondary is a mess. Their DE's have been harmless so far and a safety sized LB playing DE on passing downs is their best pass rusher.

Unloaded on Sunday at 6.5. 6x my normal play. all day today had flashbacks of FSU going to Chestnut Hill two years ago and beating #2 ranked and Matt Ryan lead BC as 6.5 pt dogs. Definitely thinking about selling some back at 7+
