I actually agree with most of your political positions except that maybe they're a bit too moderate. I just wish you could be a better ambassador of the right side of the spectrum by not ranting and name-calling so much.

Darryl, how do you expect me to do so, when these liberals do nothing but bash us conservatives? They don't debate, they name call, just as their leaders do. Maybe, I should ignore them, but I don't, I'll treat them as they treat others. Any of them who speak with sense and don't insult every conservative on the planet I am more than happy to debate with respect, but for the most part they do nothing but bash. IMO the best way to deal with lefties is to make some concessions sometimes -- like that Bush does indeed have a low IQ and that he may not have handled the Iraq situation that well -- but of course stick to conservative principles like the lowering of taxes, cutting gov't spending, strong national security, strong family values etc. Toeing the line on ALL issues is the right thing to do when placing your vote, but in a debate it helps to be as honest as possible IMO.

It's true that a favored style of leftists is a self-loathing cynicism that just points out how pathetic everything is, but a good antedote would be to ask questions until they either run into a contradiction or admit that they want to create an environment whereby parasites can thrive from sucking the blood of their richer neighbors, eventually causing the whole system to collapse...something that will happen anyway, unfortunately, because even the right is pretty far to the left in these modern democracies of the world that have totally forgotten their roots.

Doc, I will not concede anything to the lib's. I support the handling of the war, have there been mistakes, yes, but in war there are always mistakes.
