LSU -14.5 over Moo U. After last week, the tiger nation is pissed and I mean PISSED. Les Miles got a taste of being on the hot seat. Moo U still has a bad defense. Look at the past LSU Moo U scores. Normally I hate going by stats, but even when LSU had crappy teams, Moo U got blasted. I've got 55 bucks to win 50 on this. This game is make or break for LSU. A less than 14 point win is going to keep Coach Miles on the hot seat.

Texas -14.5 over Mizzou. The Sky IS falling folks. Cash in!! Mack Brown is winning games mid season and winning them big. Playing a Mizzou team where their coach is more than likely a goner and a Mizzou team that lost to New Mexico is going to be easy for Texas. Another 55 to win 50

Pick of the Week. VaTech -10 over WV. Man, I love betting this Va Tech team! They dont keep the score close, great passing, great defense. Vick is going to lead this team to a BCS game if this team continues to play like champs. West Virgina only beat E.Carolina by a few points last week. Not good. Ive got 75 on the Hokies.

well lsupete; at least u r consistent; laying points on road in unimportant games...of course u could argur miles does not think the trip to starkville is unimportant:

r u aware that another poster named this as a key play on lsu , BEFORE the season even started; and has covered 5/6...i need to know (and i don't have a national enquirer handie) lol; is lsu gonna be fighting mad; or is this going to be a letdown game, because the loss to tenn probably has screwed their entire season; and maybe the players would just as soon see les kicked out...<is he a players' coach>

any thoughts important:

Hey 8ATE.......I didn't start this thread, and what are you talking about "consistently laying points on the road"? Has your short existence here led you to the conclusion that I play that way?

This post was begun by some other poor LSU fan......but I do agree with him.

The word I'm getting from the players is that they are gonna take out some frustration on the Bulldogs. Now, if the coaches could just keep the air in the ball and get out of the way, we'll see a 28 point win.........but after that taint-scrubbing on Monday night, I would say anything is possible.

Man it sure looks funny seeing your handle w/ that Vol avatar!

I see this game being similar to the Miss St / Georgia game minus the pissed off factor! Could see LSU mashing them but also could see a 10-14 point win. Definitely a pass.

Good luck!

I wish you luck, but Missou's a tricky team. They have the talent, but seem to lack motivation. Here's hoping to Texas shows up with their A game.

I hear you. I actually pressed my supposed winnings when they were up 21-0 on the Chiefs. I went from what I thought was a can't lose situation to losing twice!! I can't figure out that Miles cat. He beats OU with inferior talent 2 of 3 years, but gives up 42 unanswered points to Texas in the 2nd half of a game. I used to like him because he could beat my nemesis - OU, but am beginning to think he's just a bonehead coach that got lucky! Was he LSU's first choice? It seems like that is a premier job and they reached a little.

Hey, that loss and the way it happened, sucked. But it was only the second game, so I'll reserve my judgement of Miles until AFTER the season. Hell, Nick Saban lost at home to UAB in his first season......and he turned out okay.

Sabans first year vs Less Miles first year

Nick's loss to UAB was way different. Saban was working with a D+ team at the time. DiNardo recruited players with great talent but rocks for brains. Miles has an A team only to use the talent every now and then. Where is the open offense that Miles promised??? Handing off to Addai isn't the open offense I looked for. Les and Jimbo need to do the 20-30 yard passes more. Shit..LSU has perhaps the top 3 WR's in the nation, only to have them used on occasion. I am still willing to give Less a chance, but it will take some big wins for me to get the Saban-like good feelings again. Pelini has got to go though. Guy has no clue about the SEC or even football for that matter.

But to make my point, Saban built a powerhouse mostly from scratch. Miles get a once Rose Bowl contender handed to him. If les goes 7-4 he is a goner. I know Skip's ego wont let it happen, but the TAF is perhaps now the most powerfull voice in LSU sports. I know Miles is a nice guy, and I really hope that he gets his act together. But if he loses and has us going to a peach bowl, he has to go.

R U Like 14? Du you talk like that cuz its kool??? Unimportant SEC games??? R U like stupid, becuz yur post make no cents.

Gees. Kid..at least I hope you are a kid....This is called an SEC conference game..you know..IMPORTANT games that get you to a place called atlanta if you have the most conference wins in your division..not to mention EVERY game in college football is important. You know..something called wins gets you better rankings and that thing called bowl placement which gets you money for your school. But to help you with this game, look at the fact that Les needs a huge win badly. If good ol Les wins this game by 10 or "Les", then his seat will be hotter than the sun. The TAF(Huge booster to the college $$$) will not be happy since a 7-4 season will be likely instore. LSU will bring more of a passing game to StarkVegas to get Russell's confidence back. This game will come down to Pelini getting his Big 12 head out of his ass and not trying for the bend dont break Big 12 shit. Doesn't work in the fastest conference in college football.

Tu comprends??

DUDE....take off those purple and gold glasses.....you're way WAY wrong about that, and to make a statement like that is ridiculously insulting to the REAL top three receivers in the nation.

I am a top 50 member in TAF, and I can promise you that you're wrong again. I love your passion for my alma mater, but you might be just a little too fired up. IF Les has a winning record, he is here for three years.....book it.

P.S. this is a gambling site, and NOBODY wants to trudge through posts from fans about their favorite programs.

Keep the picks coming!!

Miles probably stays for 3 years there at LSU. And yes those LSU Tigers will be mad this week and TRY to cover that BIG number on the road. But then again they have the same coach and came bunch of tag-a-long assistants, so they might not allow them to cover. Besides that loss just might have let the AIR of those Tigers too. Notice that the number has gone up slighty from opener, but very slighty as linemaker thinks that the number around 14 gets mixed as it has so far. Late wiseguy money might, just might come on that home doggie and they might backdoor the thing too. JMHO

Pete....Too much money at stake if Miles goes 7-4

I still say Les is a goner if he gives LSU a 7-4 record, if not then he will have one more year to get the show on the road. Too much $$$$ coming into the university through donations thanks to the winning football program. The only thing holding back Miles not getting canned would be good ol stanley's ego. Smoke Laval and John Brady for example....running their teams into the ground. I still think LSU has the talent at the WR position. The problem??? We don't have a QB that can pass to them under pressure like Leinhart or Keller and an O.C. that likes to mix it up. The hand offs and short passes all the time have got to stop. Bowe,Doucet and Davis are just about as good as any. USC by far has the best, but USC is by far the best team this year period. I really do hope that Les turns things around so we don't have to settle for the Peach. Otherwise, if not the TAF, the fans will riot over Les and Pelini doing their best Hallman and Tepper routine. LSU is a bigtime program now. 3 loss seasons are out of the question. If Skip thinks a winning season is good enough to keep Miles, then the fans will riot. I promise you that.

P.S. LSU is my alma matter too. Class of '05 and a die hard crown and coke drinkin Frat boy.

Yes. Si. Oui....Pete

Yes. Yes. I know this is NOT the site for pimping teams and offering no betting advice. I just answered a question about Saban-Miles. Even so, you can take the advice and factor it in to decisions made. Par Example...If LSU just wins the game by 10 or less or flat out loses, then I am done betting on the Tigers and perhaps will advise people to bet against them or avoid the game. If the do win big, then I will continue to wager on them when I think they can cover. Since I think they will cover, I put some money on them. StarkVegas is not the Swamp. Miles owes the Tiger Fans a huge apology game in which they can kick back and forget somewhat about last monday. Personally, I don't think even Bo Pelini can ruin this game or the score. Russell should....should get his confidence back this game.
LSU by 21.
