I would not say that, the point of the thread (and the BS show) is how pathetic some of these people's alternative explanantions are.

And as far as the gov't lying, it happens all the time intentional and not, which I think makes things like the moon theories so ridiculous - if it was all a giant government lie, it would have taken hundreds/thousands of people to be in on it and yet they all stick to the story, even after 30 years or more?

My only point is, our government certainly doesn't tell us everything. In fact I would go as far as to say, at times, they mislead us. I use the Kennedy assasination as an example, because for a long time the majority of Americans believed what the government told us. Little by little, what the government told us no longer made sense as more info became available. Until finally the government itself concluded there was probably a second gunman. I don't know much about conspiracies, just that we always need to question. To think our government wouldn't bullshit us would be naive imho. This goes for Democratic as well as Republican administrations.

No Sam I don't. But I don't thinks it is inconcievable that they allowed events to take place. Not saying this is a fact, merely a possibility. I am convinced Roosevelt allowed Pearl Harbor to happen. It let him enter a war the the public wanted no part of. Like I said. just something to consider.
