Texas must and will absolutely annihilate the aggies of texas a&m. The line is that high for a reason. Mack Brown will lay the lumber down on the helpless aggies and take em out to the woodshed and not let up. For obvious reasons of staying high in the rankings and hopefully higher than OU for a big 12 cg spot. gl though!
I would be concerned that Texas would feel the pressure here.They know they need to win by 50 for style points and they may start the game feeling like they are already down 35-0.They could be up 21-7 at the half and still feel pressure to do to much and make mistakes.I dont think they cover.
texas a&m has been horrible all season. they were not competitive at home in a 66-28 loss to Oklahoma. they lost by 3 TDs against Baylor in their last game. they were beaten at home by arkansas st. now they get a primetime game in austin with the 'horns coming off a bye?
no way texas shouldn't cover the number here. in a rivalry game involving a huge pointspread, i would be happy taking the points if the 'dog had the talent and coaching to be competitve. a&m has neither at this point.

I am pretty much convinced that Texas will cover this spread but I will wait and see what the line does before I pull the trigger. I might just play the first half and the over but who knows.
I do think A&M will put some points on the board though, Texas will not shut them down and you always have to figure for the back door cover with such a large spread.. so who knows. Nothing is solid this time of year.
